Last Saturday I saw a pedicab driver harass a Tourist in front of Plaza Hotel . Tourist said no thank you few times. Then leave ne alone. Use mass transit or walk instead.
I love your content. I believe IDNYC has ended. I have made numerous attempts to schedule an appointment with the site you list below and I am always informed that no appointments are available. Every date I request is rejected. The main IDNYC office in Manhattan is permanently closed. IDNYC started with Mayor Bill de Blasio but then experienced problems with confidentiality due to requests from law enforcement and immigration. Now we have Mayor Adams. Maybe someone else knows something about this (?)
It hasn’t! I just went to my appointment and the card is coming in the mail! What I did to get the appointment was I filled out their contact form on their website and then someone called me from their office to schedule an appointment. You should try that!
Nyc ferry is $4 per ride and they force you off at end of ride. Can't ride as long as you want. Example: if you happen to get on like one stop before the end of a specific route, thinking you can just ride it back to the opposite end of the route...nope. not so. Must pay an additional 4 dollars, even though you just paid 4.
Okay, I need more details on the 5pm tickets at tkts. I have purchased tickets there in the past, but I have always been in line in advance of their opening time (usually 11am or 3pm). What kind of "best tickets" are you talking about and are you looking to be right at the front of the line when they drop at 5pm? Do people stand at the front and wave people past them until then? What is going on with this?
Please, please don't tell people Broadway shows don't start until 10 minutes after the listed time. The only reason shows don't start on time is because people don't show up on time. Once House Management "has the house" (aka, all people are seated) the house is "given" to Stage Management, and the show can begin. If people are seated on time, the show will begin on time. PLEASE show up to your Broadway shows on time!!!
If you want real savings, say like at a nice hotel with all meals and clothing provided don't forget to show your idvenezuela card, the savings are incredible
Why are you showing Bill DeBlasio? He hasn't been mayor for almost two years. Maybe IDNYC started during his tenure, but that's not important, just confusing. Also, when are you going to check out the TKTS outlet at Lincoln Center? The line is waaay shorter and it opens earlier. I don't believe that the best tickets are released at 5 p.m. I've gotten them earlier and snagged sixth row center.
Correction : nowhere in the world you can turn right on red. Every place in the world is like NYC. Everywhere in the USA you can turn out on red. I know Americans use world to mean America but I'm sure the international audience of this channel might not.
