For anyone wondering about a more budget option, the Loupedeck Live has a lot of the same features at less than half the price!
I really appreciate the knowledge brah and for the record I agree with you 100% I believe it can be very beneficial especially when you can customize it to personal likenesses! 💯
Would U suggest this to someone that does both photography & videography?
Thanks for the update. I bought this two years ago because of your first video. I find it an invaluable tool. Excited about exploring command post. Using this Loupedeck has sped up the editing process immensely.
Looks great, very tempted!
Dope review. Quick precise and very easy to understand. 💯
Love your channel! Very inspiring
For real. I haven't seen this video yet. I just finished one he did before and wow 😳.
Thank you . Im really go to videography seriously. He explains very well for beginners.
Dude that looks amazing
Your video is very helpful.. thank you so much
Pretty nice,thank you soooo much
Everything works flawlessly
Great topic, Chris!
This tool looks really useful. Glad it works for Pr, too.
I'm also interested in your mouse. I'm curious to know how you use the extra buttons on it, to speed up your work flow. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks, man.
VERY GREAT video. it helps me a lot.
4/12/2024 - BlackMagic just released the NEW DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel at NAB today! B&H has it listed for $495.00 USD Which is cheaper than the Loupedeck CT which is $605 USD. And with the Loupedeck you will have to fight to get it work with Davinci Resolve while the Micro Color Panel is designed to work out of the box! The other problem with the CT is that the 3rd party plug in Will have to be updated for every new version of Davinci Resolve. Blackmagic, at NAB, just Announced Davinci Resolve version 19. It may take a while for small third party plugins to get updated to work with version 19 and beyond. Being that I just received my CT 10 days ago I returned it for a FULL refund and purchased the micro color panel! Hope this helps someone.
I love this review - I am fast on the keyboard (I have it customized), but I have been looking into something like this. I appreciate you chill style and thorough review. It was great to watch all the way through, and ty for the b-roll and close ups of the Loupedeck! btw what mouse are you using?
I appreciate it! I’m using the MX Master 3 mouse.
It’s next level sick. Great if you’re editing and grading constantly! I’ve never needed anything like this but would be willing to give it a go!
I don't know I kind of feel like it didn't really show me what I could really do with it you feel me I can see you again color and some darkness to things but what about like like other things
Didn't know about command post! 🔥💯👌🏾
CommandPost is tight, I use it with my Monogram module! 🔥
Yo, cool video and finally someone showing what and how they actually use it for. I just ordered my own. I was wondering, how do you use it for sound work in FCPX? Any cool tricks like with the color grading?
Thanks for sharing Bro! I must invest.
Thanks
Buying that bih rn ‼️ you put me on .
Got me subscribed would be able to get us another update and a walkthrough how you set it up on your way of using it I think you have a really great workflow setup around this. Thank you brah more power to your channel
Nice & Thanks :)
Very helpful tutorial 👌
How do you set it up to add Color Finale?
Cool. And what do you do after you applied Color Finale to the clip? Is there any setup that allows you to keep working with the Loupedeck CT inside Color Finale?
Thanks for your usefull tipps :-) But I can´t find the entry for ColorFinale". Where?
Ty I got my first divine because of you
Hey man, loved this overview and just pulled the trigger on it ;) Is there any way to assign the dials/buttons on FCP plugin settings like changing the exposure or contrast in Color Finale Pro? Thanks again!
This is what we really want to know.
Nice. Did the sound coming off the CT deck bother you early on? I noticed when you push the pads to make adjustments there is a sound? Almost sounds like an automatic lens finding focus...
You can disable the "haptic feedback".
Dope video my brother! This is exactly the video I needed to make me go buy this device. Thank you
when u turn the middle wheel does it make a very suttle rubbing type sound ? I feels like its rubbing after a few turns but its not much . is that normal ? is there a reason for that sound ?
Your Amazon link is broken on one of the links. Says this item is not available.

Hi, greetings from Germany! is it possible, to color grade in color finale complete with the Loupedeck? or can I only add the the effect?
Same question here. I only find the command post command to add a color finale window, could not figure out a way to work in it with the loupedeck.
Can this be done with Divinci resolve also?
does premeire pro work I havent researched the compatibility you got final cut
You mentioned you don’t have your scopes up. What is that? What scopes? Is that why my pictures don’t look like that?
Does it work on Davnici resolve editing software?
I’ve been having this for a year and a half I just haven’t sat down to learn it it’s a great option tho
Can this be used with DaVinci Resolve?
Great video. Are you using CommandPost by itself, bypassing the Loupedeck software - or are you using them both at the same time? So far the Loupedeck by itself is really laggy in FCP when using the wheel for things, and they recommend using CommandPost instead. Trying to sort it all out - seems really promising but it hasn't been smooth for me yet...
How does loupedeck work for u now?
@@creativegreatsvisuals great - I use it all day every day. I can't imagine being without it!
@JimDaneker I'm in the same boat, deciding if the Loupedeck software should be skipped. Have you tried to use just CommandPost directly, and if so, how do you like it?
@@acheng001 what is command post ?
@@creativegreatsvisuals Commandpost is a third-party software that can control various devices, such as Stream Deck, TourBox, Loupedeck, and etc., without the need to use the original manufacture software.
Would Love to see all the ways you use Canva
I would love one, can’t afford it though👍 I bought a FCPX Logickeyboard instead
That's awesome, I just wish it wasn't an arm and a leg to pay for that particular controller.
thanks, Thanos, glad you're getting into soft instead of...well...
Good Job my brother !
Hmmm... Seems like a difficult program to handle but manageable.
I was scared to buy this after reading so many poor reviews. Is this actually good now?
sa sa sa
Do you have a course or something I can join to learn more from you
Yuppppp I use my loupedeck + all the time!
IDK even after watching this video there doesn't seem to be much that I could do just as fast with a keyboard and mouse.
Can’t lie it look dope but at the same time look like it would slow me all the way down 😆
Yeah I knew the keyboard shortcut for every action I saw here. It looks cool, but that doesn't convince me it's better.
agreed. It's just something to makes feel cooler while editing, but not more efficient imo
@@FloatingOnAZephyrit’s easier to learn
I really like the knobs though
might have to pick this up
I might have to get that bro!
needs to be layered on top of everytNice tutorialng, since perc makes the soft get a rythm. to get more bounce you could ass tNice tutorialngs such as open
SNice tutorialt, it's the nice tuto
Hi, Are you able to use it keeping your eyes on the screen? Thx
Does it work with DaVinci? In edit and color page?
That's interesting, does it perform better than the stream deck?
does it work with any editing software..?
I'm getting the DaVinci Resolve editor keyboard in a few weeks. I should have enough data to justify the purchase by then.
Hahahaha sae dudee
Great stuff - but that twisting sideways broll shot of the loupedeck is giving me a stomach ache. I think just vertical and a zoom in/out would be a little easier on my eyes
I opened this ASAP 👀😂😂😂… Professor 🎓🎓YC
I remember watching the original video.... Has it really been two years? Wow
910
Does it work with Adobe premiere?
Yeah it does. It works in a bunch of programs!
@@YCImaging nice. Great content by the way, this makes sense with editing, definitely speeds up the process for those that do alot of music videos 📌
Cool looking tool I’d try it if was free, otherwise look like it would slow me all the way down 😆😆
😂
Bro! Davinci resolve! Make the switch and thank me later
Sa
Sa here...lol
Bro it's cost 50k in India 🇮🇳 😑 which is equivalent of 630$
comnts, even though they paid for their versions.
I am so glad it works for you. In my case, this is a piece of garbage. This is my second unit. . (1) They have the worst support I have experienced. Takes forever to respond. (2) There is no information on how to set this up. (3) their videos ate so out dated. The Loupedeck CT is not useful at all but a waste of time and money.
I’m sorry my ADHD doesn’t allow to sit still through tNice tutorials . I’ll be back so other ti
Will try to spend £50 on a video editor to slow down the video cos I could hear the words but not understand. It was still informative, SMH
