The production quality of this video is *insane* guys, the scripting, edit, pacing … and the actual film sequence footage .. who needs regular tv when we can have this!! Thank you for making me believe I could actually achieve something like this myself ;)
YES! I’ve been interested in working with miniatures, but no videos go into detail about what goes into miniatures from building to design. Thank you so much for this knowledge.
Honestly love your videos! I feel a lot of these type of channels just have someone talking to camera while they show stills from other movies. You are the hands on that I ABSOLUTLY love! Thanks for going above and beyond
Loving the 3d print schooling and model making process and as ever, the whole video was stunning, informative and lush production, I'd expect nothing less... Future 'Ridley's' in the making!
Cool video. I love my Saturn 2 and Saturn 1 printers. I have that same Wash and Cure station. I will warn this though, if you are not using the wash basin, make sure you don't leave that wash basin on the base with the basin full. It will warp the plastic and make it to where the impeller won't work any more. It happened to mine.
I love it that these guys show that you don't need a big workspace to create FX or make movies, this is my favorite tutorial channel next to CreateScifi.
For future reference, hot water goes a long way on removing supports. Washing the part then running it under hot water in a sink, or a bucket helps loosen the supports on the model and generally helps reduce contact point imperfections on the model. For thinner models this does run the risk of the part splitting
As a digital modeller getting my first 3d printer was incredible. Everything that had previously been restricted to a screen could now become a real tangible item
Oh man what a great video. I have been trying with the idea of getting my first 3D printer. I think I'm going to pull the trigger. The scene you guys recreated is just incredible. ..oh, and can I just say that was the best call to action I've ever seen? Tommy got all dressed up in white goo just to ask for a like. And I literally laughed out loud at the "like and subscribe" followed by the grin. Alien is one of my favorite movies and that little scene was awesome. You guys are so good at what you do.
4.20 is absolute genious. so funny you guys chapeau. i love how your stuff is technically so solid and yet you don't take yourselves too seriously, great job.
Great video, definitely excited for this series. Also, really cool (garden) studio (shed) lab! It would be really sweet to get a more in depth look at the set up/process of building it.
One tool I have found to be invaluable is an ultrasonic cutter. Basically a scalpel on steroids, it cuts through support media like butter, and importantly, you don't get stray bits flying off in all directions like you do with wire cutters. The only downside is they ain't cheap, but if you print a lot like me, they soon pay for themselves.
This was terrific . My first time visiting the channel and I loved the format of the video and the “late to the party” and “Ash subscribes” sketches, both clever and funny….the gun being optional for ventilation finished me. The amount of work that went into the whole production was clearly dedicated, hard and very impressive, you deserve and no doubt will get, a much bigger audience, well done all. I’ve done an Ash….please don’t disconnect me….

Incredible production quality on this video guys, so happy to see you still going strong with the amazing content, I've missed seeing them pop up on my feed! Just gutted I'm sat here watching them at home and not being in the studio as a part of it anymore 🤣❤ Proud of you all, keep it going x
Tommy radiates such Lalo Salamanca vibes. I would definitely suggest using a flexplate on that printer. It helps to avoid chiseling and prevents that ball joint build plate being knocked out of position therefore you don't need to level it every time.
I love miniatures in films so much! Air Force One, Dantas Peak, Independence Day, and TITANIC were a huge influence as a kid. It bums me out that after Lord of the Rings almost no films used any major miniatures. Its such a shame because to this day when done right, miniatures will always look better than an VFX digital model. Sadly no one in Hollywood is hiring miniature crews anymore leaving me to find other fields in film to try to work in.
It always feels like XMAS when you lads do a video. I’d love to work with them, doing some electronics and code and compositing. But I’m sure there’s a massive waiting list 😂 But as usual, an awesome job ❤❤❤
Instant sub 2 minutes into the video. This is the exact thing I want to do with my life, but I don't know where to begin 😔. I have a couple of 3d printers that I use all the time, just no goal of that makes sense. The video is awesome, fantastic production quality as well. Alien is one of my favourite films so I'm so excited for this series.
Ripley scene starting at 4:11 is just so good. So very good. You all ought to be proud for that moment alone!
It was a lot of fun 😉
That grin at the end😂😂 absolutely priceless
I linked it to all my friends, so well done. Excellent quality.
It was Hilarious!!! Also, well done on the 3D model.

The production quality of this video is *insane* guys, the scripting, edit, pacing … and the actual film sequence footage .. who needs regular tv when we can have this!! Thank you for making me believe I could actually achieve something like this myself ;)
Those title cards were very satisfying for me ☺️

InCamera is back! I absolutely love these in depth movie processes.
Always great to see the art of practical effects and miniatures being saved.
This channel is criminal underrated. I hope you get more subscribers soon and can keep growing what you are doing.
Thanks y'all ❤
Nice, glad to get a new video, really made my day.
Loving the 3d print schooling and model making process and as ever, the whole video was stunning, informative and lush production, I'd expect nothing less... Future 'Ridley's' in the making!

Incredible work, just beautiful
Like your video style! Adding movie part is quit nice! Music is also pleasant!
thanks for sharing!
What a great post!……really looking forward to parts two and three.
What I’d also love to see, is how JP set up his ‘garden shed’!

I wish you guys knew how much these videos mean to me. Everyone thank you.
And words like this mean the world to us ❤
I love to see Benjamin Cummerbatch get work. Also, fantastic work.

Love your guy’s stuff!
Very interesting. I'm delighted to see that the British garden shed still has a role to play in today's modern film making studio setting.
That ship detail looks soooo good, amazing, thanks so much for this, I learned a lot.
4:13, wow!!
Amazing work chaps look forward to seeing the final results
Lmao the Ripley scene! I totally believed it was real cuz I was distracted with the 3d printers bit 😊
Glad to see you're back!! Can't wait for more!
This channel is a hidden gem.
Wow this channel is amazing. A L I E N is still my all time favourite film. Subscribed ❤
Welcome aboard!
So funny I was just thinking about this channel a few days ago because I hadn't seen anything from you in a while. Great channel.
Your impression of Ash is worth the Subb alone 😊
You guys are super cool! It's just a brilliant!
Omg that scene at the start was sooooooo good.
4.20 is absolute genious. so funny you guys chapeau. i love how your stuff is technically so solid and yet you don't take yourselves too seriously, great job.
*WOW! **_Long time, no see!_*
So glad to see you back!
Love it! I own some original miniatures from the film, so this is pretty special stuff for me. Well done, guys.
neat, what do you have?
Great video, definitely excited for this series. Also, really cool (garden) studio (shed) lab! It would be really sweet to get a more in depth look at the set up/process of building it.
I knew the prime directives would be 'like and subscribe', so I did. Well done you crazy kids! 😎

Just over a minute in and I love this video already.

This is amazing

"I've never seen anything like it." Probably the first time that was said in a film, and was actually true.
With All that printing power, you can surely print a wedge for that wobbly cleaning table! ;)
Very true!
@5:23 Got to admire the effort on that like and subscribe bit 😂 brightened my day. Great video as usual chaps
This is amazing, thank you so much for sharing….
"Ripley... Like and subscribe :)" Iconic cinematic moment
beyond awesome...

Very Clever
Is there a video about how that amazing shed was made? A tour outside and in?
Instant sub 2 minutes into the video. This is the exact thing I want to do with my life, but I don't know where to begin 😔. I have a couple of 3d printers that I use all the time, just no goal of that makes sense.

JP where does one get that sick clock that's in your shed?!
www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005395728778.html
The Alien scene alone made me subscribe...
I would love you and Adam get together since you guys are both on a 3d printing kick. Also you guys have the same audience
Finally a new upload
A collab with Markus Rothkranz would be sick
Now you really got me!!!!!!!
That turned out beautiful - though I think that circular version of the derelict is from Prometheus. Still looks awesome though.
Très bonne vidéo, et originale !Au début je ne pariais pas sur vos chances, mai à la fin vous avez toute ma sympathie.😁
😂 merci beaucoup!
Liked an subscribed after 15csecs of video ❤❤❤
To have that whole thing mounted to your bedroom ceiling would be awesome.
Every time you laid down and looked up you'd feel like you were high above and looking down on a landscape.
Stunning
Very impressive.
How does the resin printer actually work though? It looked like it came out of liquid?
