I have a 10 year old ex racer. After her racing and breeding days she was in a rescue centre. Had to take her. We decided now, no more puppies, but ex racers. Live retirement in a family home

They use robotic jockeys that are control by the trainers with a remote control that could activate an electronic whipping device to urge the camel to run faster. Imagine the cruelty behind those electrical charges devices on the animals during a race ! A single race would usually lasts for more than 10 minutes. The camels are practically exhausted to the brink of collapse after a race !! They call it a " sport"
