Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It must be a special feeling to see the track where your little girl raced at Towcester. Greyhound racing truly is a display of grace in motion.
Absolutely! It's crucial that these magnificent dogs are loved and well cared for. Ensuring their welfare should be a top priority in any racing or competitive setting. 🐾💙
@@JerseyGroovyFilms I agree. I saw the owners w them & they seem to really care.. Unfortunately I've heard of these beautiful animals being mistreated in racing environments & it makes me so sad. I have a whippet
What is (Islam ❤️) ? Islam is the name of the religion, or more properly the ‘way of life’, which God (Allah) has revealed and which was practiced by all of the Prophets and Messengers of God that He sent to mankind. Even the name stands out unique among other distorted religions in that it means a state of being; it does not refer to any particular person, such as Christianity, Buddhism or Zoroastrianism; a tribe like Judaism; or a nation like Hinduism. The root Arabic word from which Islam is derived implies peace, safety, salutation, protection, blamelessness, wholesomeness, submission, acceptance, surrender, and salvation. Islam specifically means being in the state of submission to God, worshipping Him Alone, and reverently accepting and obeying His Law. Through this submission, the peace, security, and wholesome well-being implied in its literal meaning is achieved. Hence, a Muslim or Muslimah is a person (male or female) in that state of submission. A person’s Islam weakens through sins, ignorance, and wrong-doing, and becomes nullified in totality by associating partners with God or disbelieving in Him.
I remember when he had a track in East Hull at the old Craven Park HULL KR R.L ground, it was a cheap night out as kids, you could make 20p bets & they served small tubs of mushy peas for for a few p. & kids were welcome, although I’m not sure if our betting was legal or not. But the girls never bothered & took our 20ps. A great night out for the local East Hull people. Everything was cheap.
Greyhounds are the fastest dogs in the world, with a top speed of about 45 miles per hour (72km/h) the bait they are chasing is a mechanical rabbit, a few times it happened that dogs caught up with the bait.
The majority of former racing dogs are rehomed by the RGT (Retired Greyhound Trust), which is part-funded by the racing industry and independent charities, or directly by owners and trainers. Some “retired” greyhounds are put up for adoption, others are sent to breeding farms.
@@JerseyGroovyFilms yeah breeding farms these dogs aren’t running because they want to run. It’s just like horse racing. Animals don’t like to run like this they want to run because they are having fun and are happy and free not in a race track with a muzzle and then sent to a breeding farm because they are to no use anymore.
@@Mrs.jimmy_kimmel that's not true at all. I have a Saluki that was a stray since he was a puppy so he was never trained to run. Salukis, like greyhounds, have an incredibly high prey drive so they will chase animals/lures whether you want them to or not. Dogs like this love to run and chase. Horses don't have prey drives so they have to be trained to run. As long as the dogs are treated well during and after their racing career, there is no problem with dog racing.
@@Mrs.jimmy_kimmel You would be wrong. Greyhounds absolutely love to race, to chase that lure. To them it's a game where they are trying to get the lure 1st. Their excitement on race day when they get to the track is amazing to see. They are happy, excited, tail wagging greyhounds. After they finish their race, they want to do it all over again. Greyhounds are never forced to race. They race because they want to. If they didn't want to, they would just stand there or go another way when that box opens. The greyhounds that have little to no prey drive aren't forced to race anyway, they just get retired early and go to adoption groups to get adopted or the owner takes them home. Only the best go for breeding. If you don't know the truth, don't say anything.
@@ruthhagenbaugh2223 Prey drive? Yesiree. Our latest grey hit full stride last fall going after something he saw in the black of night. Problem was he didn't know to lay off of a skunk. We've adopted 5 greys in the last 24 years, and 3 have been "Skunked". Wouldn't have any other breed.
Greyhounds are trained to race, and their instinct to chase a moving object is a key element in greyhound racing. The mechanical lure, often shaped like a small animal, moves along the track, triggering the dogs' natural prey drive and encouraging them to run. The dogs are motivated by their innate instincts, the training they undergo, and the excitement of the chase. Greyhound racing is a sport that channels their natural abilities and provides an outlet for their energy.

@Christine Peniaranda Racing isn't outlawed in America. There are still two tracks racing in WV. The only thing that is illegal in other states is betting, so without betting, the tracks closed. Greyhounds can still race in every state except Idaho, you just can't bet on them.
No they are not mistreated, abused, abandoned or killed. Greyhounds have wonderful lives during their careers and when they slow down, they get retired and go home with their owner or go to adoption groups to get adopted.
No, that's not true. In many cases, retired Greyhounds are well cared for and can be adopted into loving homes. There are organizations dedicated to the welfare of retired racing Greyhounds, ensuring they receive proper care and attention in their later years. It's important to note that generalizations about mistreatment may not accurately represent the efforts made by responsible individuals and organizations to provide a good life for these dogs post-racing. If you have any specific concerns or questions, feel free to ask for more information!
Looks can be deceiving. Greyhounds are naturally lean and athletic dogs, and many enjoy racing as a form of exercise and stimulation. It's important to ensure their welfare is a top priority in any racing environment.

Any reason the dogs keep running?
@Tse They keep racing because they love it. They only race once or twice a week for around 34 seconds.

Not everywhere is like America and this is England. America is greedy that’s why they become outlawed based on PETA lies.
será verdade que ao ficar idosos eles são abandonados e recebem maus tratos?
