I'm so glad we have some good role models in skateboarding that have platforms like these to show the younger generation what skating is really about
137 days clean today. Recovery in skateboarding gets me so hyped. Been back on board for like 2 months and it's true it feels like a rebirth or like that same level of hype and motivation from childhood first board. We do recover. If you're still out there miserable and using just know there's a way out and you never have to use again. 💙
4.5 years clean from shooting heroin and cocaine and I can't even begin to explain how important it is to keep having these conversations and keep expressing yourself on the daily. Most important thing in my opinion is to talk about your struggles, as it helps other people more than you could ever imagine, especially the younger generation. ✌️❤️🤘

Being sober is the best choice I've ever made, because I can skate when I want and not have regrets hangovers and all the negative impacts that come with drugs and alcohol, skating has saved my life and continues to do so, one love.

Big props to B Turner and independent trucks! Skateboarding really saved my life. Kept me grounded (literally and figuratively), and has taught me a lot of life lessons on getting back up from falling. Love that this platform is showing that skateboarding is more than a sport, it is a way of life!
