not only did it work perfectly it is always a perfect solution for the long-term tysm! btw if you are trying to save to photos once it is a JPEG press the share button and press save image
Couldn’t quite get it to do what I wanted. I am able to have it ask me where to save the jpg file, but I am unable to make them save in my photos. I had to get creative and save to docs, then share that file by texting it to myself, then saving.
Followed through the video twice. Complete the shortcut , then I go to a pdf document in files, hit share. And the shortcut does not appear. I tap on edit actions to add it as mentioned in the video and it’s not there either. Help pls.
Check to see if "Show in Share Sheet" is enabled. You can find this in the Details for the Shortcut. To get there, tap and hold on the Shortcut in the main list of Shortcuts. Then tap "Details" on the menu. Then, enable "Show in Share Sheet". If it is already on, try turning it off and back on. Then check to see if it appears when sharing.
Which action in the shortcut are you looking for? If you're looking for the "Make Image from PDF page" action, that is in the Media category within the Images sub-section.
@@bascombproductions Thanks for the reply. I found it after a restart but unfortunately it didn’t work. It shows 50% done but nothing happened after that. It stuck on an empty recent page.
Good question. If you have the "Save File" action added but the shortcut doesn't ask you where to save the file when running the shortcut, I would try removing and re-adding the "Save File" action. You can also toggle the "Ask Where to Save" switch to see if that will help activate it. If it doesn't prompt you for the Save location, it may also be running into an issue creating the JPEGs.
Glad it’s working well for you. The resolution can be increased by changing the dots per inch resolution in the Make JPEG image action. You will need to tap the disclosure triangle to see that setting.
I believe that you can use the "Create Photo Album" action to save the JPEGs to a new album.(or if there is already a Photo Album with the name that you give it, the photos will be added to that album.). To do this, you can use that action instead of the Save Image action.
very difficult to understand your video without voice. we are not deaf. we follow instructions what we listen. in this deaf and duff way dozens of fellows are unable to understand the fast moving video. instructional videos are always run slow to make the viewers understand. you are running fast enough as you are in a race ground. shameful videos without voice.

Thanks for sharing! I followed your steps but each page of pdfs are saved in separate JPEG. Did I miss something? Thanks!
That’s the intended outcome for this. This is useful for exporting a PDF presentation into JPEGs, which can then be added into a video editing app.
You are grreat. Thank you.

How to save it in Photo Album?

Any way to make it save in camera roll?
I believe that you can use the “Save to Photo Album” action for this.
Thank you
