- Welcome to Centrifuge. An indoor scrambler ride like no other. Themed after the old Centrifuge which fell into the Ocean during Hurricane Sandy. You go through a fun weird queue, then board what seems to be a normal scrambler. Things get hectic from here. Can you ride Centrifuge?!?!? Enjoy!

It's alright! Eclipses are pretty dangerous on the eyes too, so it makes sense.

This is the best ride in the park. Du Hast by Rammstein played in the background. It felt like I was on the molly.
That would have been a great choice! We always yelled up to the DJ and request Cowboys From Hell by Pantera. They always played it.
I like this ride because there is a lot of effects, stroble lights and heavy metal music 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I never been to Seaside Heights but this definitely looks like the best and most unique scrambler built. Also I like the choice of music the park went with to play on the ride.

I remember when this ride used to be called the poltergeist.
I would kill for somebody to upload pictures of the original facade of poltergeist. That was an incredibly fun ride. It was essentially the same as centrifuge but it just had a different facade on the outside. Sort of that spray painty art look. Like in the same vein of the artwork from the original Himalaya. Same sort of style.

This ride was one of the biggest surprises for me when I went to casino pier this past June. They blasted linkin park and it's just this crazy out of body music video experience mixed with some pretty good laterals.
How to spice up an ordinary Scrambler ride - Sort of reminds me of what they did with a Huss Breakdance/Rodeo at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. The lighting package really enhances the ride experience.

Technically, it's a new Centrifuge. Old one fell into the ocean in Hurricane Sandy. This one is exactly the same though
Back before Sandy this was without question the park's best ride. I never thought they'd ever rebuild it, let alone make it completely identical to the old one. And I mean totally identical - the tunnel and blacklight room, and even the SOAD. Somewhere around here I have footage of an entire run on the old ride from the same perspective; let me look around for it. Ride has been at Seaside for decades. Used to be called The Poltergeist. Was renamed Centrifuge around mid to late 90s. It's an experience!

Just a heads up; there’s a big difference between an “Eclipse warning” and an “Epilepsy warning”, so you might want to change that. However, I really like the footage, and it looks to be one of the best Scrambler rides out there! I kinda want to ride it now!

You would not be able to see anything and it was not recommended by the park, that is why this was filmed, and it was filmed from the operator booth.

I remembered riding the Iceberg at Dorney Park when I was a kid. They used to keep it ice cold in there...pun intended. Lol.
