I have no problem with how laid back they are on the mask regulations! We need our old world back where we can actually see each other’s generous smiles and facial expressions. Thanks for the review.

Hi there! Thanks for your comment - the world is such a crazy place and we feel you. It’s not quite the same having to wear masks and live in paranoia of getting sick! We keep hoping it will end soon. 😭

Thinking of staying here or Hyatt Zilara. At Eden Roc, are you basically a hostage to the food and restaurants on the property or are there other places to eat within walking distance? How well does the AC work in the rooms, is the water pressure and temperature stable, are the pools heated at the resort and in the rooms with the pools, any issues with privacy and obtaining a beach chair, can you rent a cabana for the day, how is the Wi-Fi is it spotty or non-existent? Is there a hot tub and heated? Is the resort noisy? Debating on going first week or two of November. Thank you for your time!

Hey Shane! thanks for reaching out! In terms of being stuck at the resort, there are some options within cap cana that are golf-cartable away from Eden Roc like a marina with a few restaurants so that's definitely available. Hyatt is a bit more removed but of course, a little different since all the food is included.
AC was great at both in our experience, hyatt is a newer property so feels very new and fresh. Same with the water pressure and temps in the rooms at both.
Pools were not heated at the time we were at both to my knowledge - the swim ups at hyatt are VERY cold as a heads up since they're usually in the shade.
The swim up rooms at hyatt are not private, i prefer the rooms on higher floors for that reason. there are no hot tubs.
wifi was good at both properties. hyatt is much larger so definitely more noise but at night they kept the noise indoors so no issues with sleep. Eden Roc is much quieter and the villas section is SUPER quiet.
Happy to answer any questions- feel free to shoot me an email at team@voyagerguru.com :) xx, Maren

    I was
Just about to book until they said it’s not an all inclusive hotel 😢! Really ! They need to change that ASAP! I’m sure they loose a lot of bookings because of this?! Moving on ! Man I really liked this 1 too !

I know it’s such a bummer! We really like Hyatt Zilara as a high end option! Definitely worth checking out

Because it’s not all inclusive, to the charge for pretty much everything (example bottled water)? Is it reasonable to tip for all services? Many thanks

Hi Alex! Yea that’s correct - I can’t recall but I believe there’s an automatic service charge so be aware before you tip to check the bills. Bottles water is free and you can request as much as you want in the room :)

If you’re so worried about C-19 stay home and lock your doors! Who cares about this ridiculous rating.

Hi Kal! Thanks for your commentary - as a note this video was made in july 2020 as we mentioned at the high of the pandemic. Many people, including ourselves, were very cautious and care greatly about traveling safely. The point of the rating was not about staying home, it was about traveling during the pandemic. We flew over 50 flights to international destinations all over the world during COVID and did so cautiously. Have a great day!!

@@VoyagerGuru At that time cautious people weren’t traveling but “staying home” you the thing that actually did not to slow the expansion furthermore we all know now that masks didn’t do a darn thing, well some people with common sense knew it wouldn’t do anything all along. I enjoy your videos however the c-19 rating is just nonsense and it’s apparently inclusive to many of your viewers who don’t agree.
