You cant win them all, an hes shown time an time again multiple ways to win with Blackwings.
With kali why the heck would you want more going 2nd..
At most you should be able to play through 2 hand traps..not die to 1 negate.
It's the price of a rogue deck, it requires more skill. An knowing your opponents deck, not hoping to break boards and play through hand traps.
Rogue decks play a price, but so do meta decks having targets on they're back.
Nobody said we always wanted to win going second. winning cause you play first is still bad gameplay and game design and why yugioh isn't growing as a game either. How you get casuals to play the game when they have to wait 5 minutes for opponent to combo off only to have every card in hand negated.

I'm new to modern Yugioh so apologies if this is a stupid question! But I love blackwings and am getting a deck together to go to locals with, but isn't Maxx C forbidden for advanced format? And Call of the Grave is limited? what would you recommend I switch out for those cards?
Master Duel has a different ban list from TCG
Get Crossout Designator, Droll and Lock, Ash, Veiler a couple Nibs and Evenly asap

@Kanak what are your thoughts about dropping one called by the grave to add a Radian, the MD Kaiju to this decklist? I think it adds another easy bridge to simoon via small world and also strengthens the deck going second as a potential out for annoying ss negate monsters?

I switched Bystials for Darkruler and Maxxc for Evenly cause the coin is broken and Maxxc is getting ashed anyway and boardbreaker are better than bystials in this format🦅

There are many but the biggest one is that it doesnt lose to boardbreakers line droplet and doesnt lose to backrow decks because of the quick effect heavy storm…it also plays under shifter :)

Cowrie is a worse version of Small World in Blackwings. It's only good in Floo and Raidraptor
