The defendant bride is super ungrateful about the wedding cake. That was a 4 tier cake and only $200 for materials. She knew the plaintiff wasn’t a professional, and she spent a lot of time making that cake. Her time was the gift! Some people don’t realize how much time and effort goes into making specialty cakes. I can’t believe she was willing to lose a friendship over $200, and it was a very thoughtful gift! What a cheap bride! Also, $1000 to feed 400 people?! And she thought that was a high dollar wedding meal! 😂

Whats with this spousal support in the USA? If you divorce, then get a job to support yourself. If you receive spousal support there's no incentive to support yourself! It's crazy. In NZ, the ex supports the children till they turn 18, the wife gets a job!
If the spouse receives spousal support it means that they usually was the SAHP(stay at home parent) taking care of the children and home when the other parent works outside of the home. This lady probably didn’t work in 23yrs while married to him so she has no experience besides at home.

A good father doesn’t put his needs before those of his family. He was unfaithful to his wife AND to his children by having an affair with his secretary and then by leaving his family. The wounds that he inflicted on his wife and children are lifelong. And then he repeatedly chose the other woman over his children, sending them the clear message that they were no longer valued by him. The fault that the children are hurt and angry lies squarely with the father.
