It was so wonderful to listen to this. It is just great and very important knowledge that you are sharing. I will just tell you that Iranian Sufism has the same polar thinking. All ancient Iranian Poets have this polar thinking. Rumi has polar thinking. The Sufi dance has polar thinking. But the root of it is in Zarathustrian philosophy. It is very simple: light and pure goes up to the north pole , dark and heavy goes south to south pool. And the path for enlightenment is always upward. Not east or west or south but up. In those times that you called for dark ages it was forbidden to think that way. Islam is moon orientated, Christianity or Romans were sun orientated. Everyone who thought otherwise got killed. Therefore in many secret societies of that time you see polar orientated illustration, but they were secrets. There is a lot to be said about this. Thank you .
This channel is an absolute gem, but I do think you're missing some things about exactly **why** there was a transition from polar/geocentric to solar cosmologies. Even within Ptolemaic cosmology, the sun is still the center, in that it is the exact midway point between the terrestrial realm and Ouranian Empyrean. The earth is the "bottom" moreso than the "center". Whether we consider the earth or the sun to be central isn't a matter of physical facts - there is no absolute space, and so which one we regard as central is simply a matter of which one we depict as "holding still" within our models, but this is purely arbitrary. Modern science simply privileges size and gravitational influence because it can only think in terms of physical features, and so it can't imagine prioritizing anything else. What really matters here, between geocentric and heliocentric, is the emphasis upon the immanent or the idyllic, respectively. The two notions began to split apart during the Neolithic "revolution" (which was clearly an act of absolute desperation following some sort of devastating cataclysm) and continued to progress throughout all of recorded human history. The transition to heliocentric cosmologies certainly resulted in a loss of ancient truth which was tied to geocentric/polar cosmologies, and that needs to be reintegrated, but that does not mean that the heliocentric is "wrong".
The Vedic central “sun” you see with your “3rd” eye.. the light referred to in “love and light” or “enlightenment” .. it’s literally conscious light .. it often looks ,especially initially,like a sun shining with rays you see when you close your eyes.. yes a spiritual sun but there a direct connection to the universe sun.. .. solar and soul-ar

I'm very interested in your research, great work. I don't agree a hundred percent with you, but your perspectives are worth considering. I'd like to add that within horoscopic astrology, the cross in the circle is a representation of the houses, which are a function of the Earth's rotation, (or the sky's rotation in your cosmology) which describes where the planets and Zodiacal band are from our perspective on Earth. The horizontal line is the horizon, and the vertical line is the meridian. The top most point is the midheaven, while the bottom-most point is the IC, what is beneath the Earth. It relates to our connection to the Earth, our deepest roots and ancestory, and core inner motivation. It also represents that which is north, as the meridian cuts the zodiacal band at its lowest point beneath the Earth in the direction of North. So when you say to go North is to go inward, this is very much displayed in any Natal chart, it is the point the Sun crosses at true Midnight. I would be curious to know what is placed uppon your IC, as this passion for the North pole is so prominent in your work.
It could be argued that a lot of mathematics and more abstract thought was developed / discovered through humans’ fascination with astronomy and the early obsession with mapping the night sky. In the northern hemisphere, the existence of the north star as the first “centre” makes sense. It’s the only celestial body which remains fixed to the naked eye while the rest “move around” it. I bet the north star was absolutely central to early math and of course geography and cartography, which would also explain why a majority of significant historical civilisations seem to have developed in the northern hemisphere (the southern hemisphere doesn’t have an equivalent celestial fixed pole). We live in a world of chaos where everything is changing and moving all the time. I personally believe man crested god to a) build a personal relationship with the chaos of the natural world to make it more approachable; and b) because adults need parents too, and when real parents die early / aren’t present in the necessary ways, we find (or create) substitutes. For the earliest humans looking up at the sky, day and night, Polaris was the one constant in their ever-changing world. No wonder they latched onto it. As did their scientific development. So then math happens. And geography and cartography etc. And it gets refined to the point the Vedics and the Egyptians etc. realise it’s actually *the earth* moving around *the sun*. I think from the point of that discovery there was an organic transition towards centering the sun instead of Polaris. Kinda like everyone around 5000 bc started to get embarrassed they worshipped the “wrong” star this entire time but then realised all the “centrality” and “moving around a single point” symbolism still worked for the sun too (because the math was always based on how everything moved relative to the sun, they just realised it later because it’s a shifting variable you can’t compare to other stars with the naked eye). So they quietly kinda phases out the North star in favour of the sun. Well that’s my 2 cents anyway.
