People Don't understand at the end of Gundam Seed Destiny a treaty was signed on Both sides of the conflict to ban Nuclear Weapons. So to continue the fight against war faring factions that want to start conflict the Seed Pilots can only use Mobile Suits without N-jammer Cancelers. Hence the 2 main mobile suits seeming like they were downgraded. Hopefully that sheds some light on the reasoning behind their designs 😊
That said, given how Rising Freedom was able to mount gen 1 Freedom's weapon loudout WITHOUT the need for Nuclear power showed how far the technology had developed.

@@깝좀치지마omg this is gundam seed that we all know they always have an upgraded version in the middle or nearly end of episode, so just wait till the anime release, even the other gundam series have that kind of evolution too. Also when u think about it gundam seed destiny also have downgraded gundam to in the begining, just look at impulse, its just a better version of strike gundam, freedom design and power is still better, its the same as it now it just some upgraded freedom, just think dude!! Thinkk!
@@bautomat8600 Of course, I believe that the Rising model will be replaced with a better design. However, what I mean is that the Strike Gundam was a great arrange of the RX-78 and received a lot of attention early on, but the Rising did not achieve that at all
it is a downgrade in the sense of having no nuclear powered unit. even the wing blaster is downgraded to strike level blaster compared to the original plasma cannon level

Exactly and also if you look at the loadout it is very well armed for a Non-Nuclear Power Source
