Just because you see fish, doesn't mean they are crappie. They can be big shad, catfish. Drum etc. No what I mean huh, no what I mean? Wonder how many hours he spent trying to put this video together. If the crappie are 7 feet deep, you can fish with a slip cork and minnows.
Great videos👍Thx! - We have a place on lake Owen, do you ever fish it? I’ve never caught a Crappie there -but then I’ve never caught a whole lot of anything there-probably not the lakes’ fault though!😬
i guess i am spoiled here in Florida,,, i only keep 12 inch and up to 17 inch, ones.... lived in mn for 40 years and rember them not being to big... coming up for 4 weeks and will have to remember that they are small up there
You had better find more fish...if you have foks coming over. They are going to be looking at you like ok...where are the fish bro!!LOL! Good stuff! Thanks for sharing.
@@dominatefishing9641 hey Dan, hope you're doing well. I ended up getting the pleuger president. The only summit xt I could find was way too big a spool for what I needed
This video will sell lots of sonar units. I find and catch crappie without one. Just takes longer More trial and error. But when you find structure that holds crappie, just repeat.
Thanks for explaining what you're looking for in the sonar imagery. Great video!
“I got guys watchin me. Oh no that boat just pulled over. You know Im not fishing until they leave”. Haha.
i was fishing a school once, got other fisher come up to me to talk. i quickly reeled out until they left. i caught about 40fish that day, Hahahah!
Nice Job! Keep showing you using your sonar.
Good job, enjoyed the video.
You got mad skillz
I learned more this video then watching tips and tricks from (pros) thank you
Great tips. Thanks.
thanks man!
Really good 2D sonar instruction. Do you have your hummingbird set up in a particular way to get it to read that clearly?
I think Its the angle of my transducer
S your sensitivity set too i used mine for the first time yesterday I saw fish but I seen they were shad
The problem I’m having with fish finders . You see the fish but how do u kno which direction they are so u can cast in that direction
Have you figured out? I dont know this either

Hey how ya doin? I was looking at a pflueger summit xt for a 6 ft st. Croix, how do you think the balance would be on that?

@@NewBeginningNewCreation good choice, I think you will like it! what pound test line did you put on it?
@@dominatefishing9641 I put 6 lb. test, figure that would be plenty good for crappie.
@@NewBeginningNewCreation yep!
@9:00 I use the same ones, white/ black
right on man, they work!
