  • In March 2002 I took a drive around some locations in Hull that were undergoing a lot of change, particularly the St. Stephens Square area which was being redeveloped to make way for the St. Stephens Shopping Centre. Also included in some of the old Hedon Road area, Paragon Station and construction of the KC Stadium in West Park. All images taken in March 2002.

There's a perfectly good railway line running parallel with Hedon road, its about time it was connected back up. It would certainly help to release pent up pressure on the actual roads.

St Steven's , mmmm wonder how long until its a ghost shopping center like Prinny Quay . It's all too easy to knock stuff down , without a thought for heritage and Hull's history.
When I see Hedon Rd , I think Willinghams car breakers . Happy days .
