Doctor,I drink lemon juice daily and I am not sure about it what causing it thinning of tooth with residing gums and I have gaps between tooth. Doctor can u suggest me safe way to drink lemon juice and how to treat it?
Hi there. I got 4 emax veneers fitted in July on my front top teeth. I've had major tmj issues since. I was a teeth grinder prior to getting them fitted but the pain I'm in now is chronic. I've had a mouth guard fitted professionally again drives pain off the charts. I've had my bite corrected twice. Bite is perfect. Did I have tmj before the new dental work and has the dental work just made it come to the fore. Is there a cure for this. I'm considering botox into the massater muscles but if I get that done will it eventually as stop the pain. I'm regretting getting them done
It sounds like there is something called an interference to your natural jaw movement. In simple terms, the crowns may be a tiny bit bulky from the back. You dont notice this when you bite, but your jaws are trying to adapt, and causing pain. There may have been underlying bite issues, causing the tooth grinding in the first instance. Mouth guards will probably not help, you need something specific like a Michagan Splint, made in a jaw position called Centric Relation... This can be tricky to find, and involves more than taking a mould. If thinks were ok before these crowns, the simplest thing might be to find this bite interference, and grind it out.
I’m surprise I have strong faith other than certain routes in my front gate of racism for five years that the trauma had to my face throughout the years painting and watch him like thank keep on the towel rack that in my iPad on my front teeth eating break they just got looser and looser I miss you I had to get them extracted, damn... I have a upper partial metal denture forfive teeth mostly on the right side including my two front teeth due to braces from H 13 to 18 and did not go for my retainer and three impacted route wisdom teeth… One lower tooth molar partial and noticed that I need to add lower to get a proper correct bite by bite has never been better
Doc, my nephew is only 5 and his teeth are too worn already.. Many are less than half length long. He fell from a normal chair and had fracture on his hand too.. Is there a problem with his bone structure?? Pls help.. Tnx!!
You forgot to mention, Bolemia....I knew one girl who had bad teeth cause she was obsessed in being skinny..The stomach acid coming up wore away her teeth.....Ewww if you ask me? Lol

Sir i have noticed that my teeth grinded too much at the root part top of teeth not at edge and so tensed do it crack what can i do
I would see a dentist who knows a lot about bite problems and solutions on how to fix them

Baby teeth are softer, it's much more likely that he has an acidic diet which is wearing the teeth down quickly

This can cause tooth wear, but it's not that common. Essentially erosion coupled with attrition.
