Zapraszam do obejrzenia filmu z pobytu włoskiej fregaty ITS Luigi Rizzo (F 595) typu Carlo Bergamini w porcie w Gdyni. Okręt należy do najnowszej serii okrętów Marynarki Wojennej Włoch (Marina Militare), realizowanej w ramach projektu platformy europejskiej wielozadaniowej fregaty (FREMM multipurpose frigate), budowanych wedle francusko-włoskiej współpracy (we Francji są określane jako typ Aquitaine, który notabene też parę dni potem zawitał do Gdyni). Okręt wszedł do służby w 2017 roku, a od stycznia br. wykonuje zadania w ramach misji "Brilliant Shield". Jest to trzeci okręt Marynarki Wojennej Włoch (Marina Militare), który działa na Morzu Bałtyckim, zapewniając m.in. ochronę przeciwlotniczą polskiego wybrzeża i patrolując wschodnią flankę NATO. Okręt wszedł do Gdyni dnia 10.03.2024 roku, a dwa dni potem 12.03.2024 został udostępniony do zwiedzania. Zapraszam do oglądania!
Enjoy watching a video of the stay of the Italian frigate ITS Luigi Rizzo (F 595) of the Carlo Bergamini-class in the port of Gdynia. The ship belongs to the latest series of ships of the Italian Navy (Marina Militare), implemented as part of the project of the European multipurpose frigate platform (FREMM), built according to French-Italian cooperation (in France they are called the Aquitaine-class, which, incidentally, also arrived a few days later to Gdynia). The ship entered service in 2017, and since this January it has been performing tasks as part of the 'Brilliant Shield' mission. It is the third ship of the Italian Navy (Marina Militare) that operates in the Baltic Sea, providing, among others, anti-aircraft protection for the Polish coast and patrolling NATO's eastern flank. The ship entered Gdynia on March 10, 2024, and two days later, on March 12, 2024, it was opened to visitors. Enjoy watching!

very nice! those big ships are amazing. sadly, you may have read, in Baltimore port, a cargo ship slammed into a bridge and the bridge collapsed! terrible tragedy.
