There have been several times I've seen you tackle lawns and thought to myself "A big ass scythe would make short work of that." And there one is in the corner. Don't listen to those wanting you to go with bigger equipment, go old school instead!
I have made that comment a few times on the Blade Mate channel when seeing some of those overgrown yards, I had a chuckle when I saw he actually had one
Sooooo, "Who'll come a'waltzing Matilda with you?" I guess I will, billy bong and all, new subscriber here. We used to sing this in school back in the 50s and 60s in Canada.
Awesome! We have the John Williamson version from the 2000 Olympics opening ceremony on our car play list. The kid's love it because my eldest is named Matilda ❤

keeping up with the joneses and getting a shed like everyone else around the neighbourhood - love a shed - just like a house except you can make bigger messes and use petroleum products

Congrats, Sean!!! Great workshop/shed for your tools and equipment. No more out in the rain or heat/hot sun, trying to fix things. I'm looking forward to watching you take an old machine and make it work like new again. Oh, and don't let anyone tell you that you have to have bigger machinery. Your terrain there is varied, like flat to steep hillsides, so you use what you feel is right. I enjoy watching you work with whatever equipment works best for the environment. Hey Sean, I can’t wait to see what you have to restore! Definitely looking forward to the victa 600/super 24 as I’ve restored a couple of them and have a soft spot for them as they are a great all rounder handling the tall stuff but also can leave a nice finish on well maintained lawns . Keep up the great work mate cheers for the entertainment and knowledge 👍👍

First, thank you for seeing value in giving old equipment a second chance. It is good to see someone keeping alive the skills of DIY and passing them on is the gift that keeps on giving. I find it a boost to my own self belief to know I’m capable of making, maintaining or repairing something.
Secondly, I will be most envious if you set up a sandblasting cabinet and will be taking note of what sort of set up you come up with.
I look forward to your progress towards your ideal set up. Have loads fun doing it.
