They have to win game 1 and 2 to have a chance, once they lose at home it's pretty much game over. Indiana already run rings around the Bucks 4 times this season with Giannis on, and now that he is not and with Siakam added, it is near impossible.
The team had no defensive scheme though and the bucks hadn’t learned the basic strategy of mud fight.
I wouldn’t put to much stock in the bucks record vs Indiana this regular season.
The postseason when dame hit that iconic game winner over Paul George the blazers got swept by OKC in the regular season, the blazers ended up winning that 1st round series 4-1. So I know how you guys feel going up against a team that had a edge over you in the regular season.
AJ Green needs to have a Bryn Forbes like series
Someone needs to be the designated TJ McConnell disrupter. He brought them back in every game.
Short answer: no
Long answer: Hell no!
You could not beat them with Giannis
@@Your_celtics_sourcebucks living in ya head u sound insecure
@@Your_celtics_source Correct. Even w Gianiss Bucks getting beat. W/ Giannis they lose 4-1, without him they get swept. This team is old and broken and washed.
@@leopucci9452 look at my name. I’m a Celtics fan
What are you talking about. Without Giannis we lose 4 games and season finished
I think we can get 1 game without Giannis.
@@Jroddxillaseason still finished
This goes 2 ways. Bucks go out in the 1st round or get to the Finals.
Shaping up to be ugly off season
@@JroddxillaCould they win a round sure but finals is laughable considering they’ve been up and down all year. No consistency whatsoever with this team.
Okay so I wanna point out that Bobby portis, Pat connaughton were not utilized effectively under griffin. We didn’t have Pat Bev and we weren’t utilizing AJ green. Khris was in restricted minutes. Jae crowder was out completely with the adductor thing.
Soooo.
I feel confident that with the new defensive strategy and our bench pieces being utilized appropriately, we’ll be good.
Pat C lmao he is terrible
Pat C is awful
Bobby plays 0 d
DOC is the worst coach of all time
@@tonytone1395 Pat C has really improved since the break and is a huge energy burst and a smart player who can facilitate.
@@IknowMoreThanYou see above comment on Pat C. Bobby has improved his defense he can trap & get steals and blocks. Hes gonna be fine.
Doc is not the worst coach ever than an egregious statement. He’s had a lot of success and some failures with some players who have always had failures both with and without doc.
i appreciate your confidence even i dont have much left :)
I'm a Laker and will like Milwaukee to win but feel like there's no hope
Bucks fans are such doomers in the comments. Damian Lillard will take care of this do not worry at all.
Bandwagons and casuals are always so dramatic and emotional, and LOVE to overreact
You sound crazy. Gannis is hurt and we saw what Orlando did to Milwaukee in the last game. Dame was the leader of that squad and we got smashed. This isn't Dame's team. He's here to back up Gannis. It's not the other way around.
@@riccopatterson2115 who? You probably shouldn't be talking about a team if you can't even spell their best player's first name right even though he's been on the team for a decade
God so many of y'all just can't hold your team accountable for the absolute failure that was put on display this season as a product. It's literally laughed upon in other cities rn. Taking a mindset that everything will be fine all the time is more bandwagon than anything that's facts.
@@codymarrochello2686 keep the copium coming casual 🙌
Giannas dropped 42 a game on the pacers and still lost 4-5…. So what can dame do ?
Experience will make a difference in this 1st round! Let's go, Bucks! Ok, we may not have Giannis right now, but we still have to play our best, and I believe we will! We have a good team, and we can WIN!!!!! REST UP AND GET BETTER GA! The team got this!!!!
Bucks won't go far without Giannis, I'M JUST KEEPING IT A BUCK A MILWAUKEE BUCK...
They can win but EVERYONE needs to lock in and stop making stupid mistskes
I have a wierd feeling .. i feel we would have a easier time beating phily with giannis over the pacers ... but without giannis i feel more confident playing the pacers
So we'll beat the Pacers without him and then he'll come back for the Philly series? :p
Most bucks fans have weird feelings. Too bad it is based on emotion and not common sense.
I agree but we can beat both.
Pacers beat them with gannis 4 times this season.
@@NP0UTLAW This is not a particularly convincing argument as the regular season is meaningless. Time and again we see teams win the regular season series against an opponent only to get clobbered in the playoffs.
Yes Milwaukie can beat any team when all cylinders are firing.
Yes.
If..........
G-Unit needs to play.
I like the Bucks in 7. Veteran players prevail.
Siakam is a champion too
Call me over-optimistic, i have a feeling (or hope) that this series is Dame's chance to find himself, and i think that's more important (in the long run) than Giannis not missing some of the 1st round games.
Delusional
win or lose a soft rebuild needs to be considered
It's a necessity
It's just so hard. No picks or assets and a bunch of old overpaid players to trade doesn't leave them much room to improve the roster.
The only thing they can really do is try to trade Dame and Bobby.
Fans generally get sideswiped by their blind spots. It’s very possible that Giannis should shut down his year and heal up thoroughly.
This season has had the last 2 Rodgers packers season vibes. Goodish regular seasons but with those teams same as this team vibes are off. Hopefully they can change the vibes with the start of the playoffs
If you think there is no hope, stay on that side til the series is over. No flipflopping. Thanks.
Oh please. They suck, stop being delusional
Exactly! Bandwagon casuals need to find a new wagon. Dealing with this bs is exhausting tbh
@@fs6688 then stay on that side child
Its simple, play gree, jackson and marjon more, even get Livingston in there. Thats how we win. Doc needs to change this mindset that older players need to play, smh
Been sayin it
He should have played them more earlier so that we could inject that energy. The playoffs slow down tho so I guess we will see if that’s any factor .
@ad00m5 you right, but this pacer team is high octane offense, I don't see teams stopping them, we will need to keep up and make timely stops, but I have no confidence with players like Pat, crowder and beasely. And dame needs to show up, he's been a disappointment so far
Marjon and Livingston did not see the floor in teh regular season, you wanna run them out there in the playoffs? Maybe next year. But I have been saying for two years: Marjon is a bust. He cannot play and will be overseas soon.
@paullawrence1267 true, but even in garbage time, I know against other scrubs, he actually jumps out and is noticeably quicker and seems explosive. And I feel him not get regular rotational minutes slowed his growth, even with that, I don't think we've seen what he's capable off yet. Time will tell. I mean, 6"7 guy that can run and Athletic, I would honestly put him on the other teams best offense of player. We suck so miles well utilize him.
Bucks in 6
Build around Beverly
😆
We’re gonna beat tf outta them #PacerNation #HaliTime
Que sera sera. Ajax has to play a backup disruptor on Halliburton,
The Pacers do have rim protection but they suck at rebounding lol
Bucks in 6, all the non believers can exit now
Fight fight fight. 👌👏👏👏
Just an fyi, since the all star break the pacers still lead the league in bench points at 46 ppg. Wouldn't count on their bench being considerably worse than before.
Their starters will be playing 40 minutes now. Their bench won't be giving that kind of production but still scary
Y Giannis didn’t want Nurse? I’ll never know 🤦♂️😢
Why do you want him? What’s he proven that doctor Bud hadn’t proven?
Why,don't play them young guys?
Giannis will play every second he will not allow himself to be the reason the Bucks lose.
A month AGO THEY SAID GIANNIS HAD ACHILLES SORENESS AND LET HIM PLAY INSTEAD OF SHUTTING HIM DOWN FOR A MINIMUM 10 GAMES.
THIS IS ACTUALLY THE WORST FRONT OFFICE WITH A GENERATIONAL STAR EVER SEEN.
TRULY UNINTELLIGENT PEOPLE.
Bobby needs to average 25
AJ and Jae need to hit 3s
Middleton needs to dominate
Dame needs to lead
If these 4 things happen, they win.
this is a bad matchup for us. I think the Pacers win in five games.
Malik Beasley Needs to shut up and Step Up
No. I have a better question.
Who will take the most game balls?
I don’t get what they saying I’m lost
I dont think it matters, they can't beat them with him
Beasely has been shooting poorly lately.
Play Giannis at 5...
As a Bucks fan, I'm realistic here. With Giannis we couldn't beat Indy. And my Bucks haven't been able to put it together this season. No one has the answers. I believe it will be a sweep. Man that hurts to say. But if I'm going to be real here. And the way they have been playing lately. I just have no confidence that my Bucks can somehow flip a switch and turn it around. I just don't see it.
As a Bucks fan I'll be back to this comment to tell you how wrong you are for not believing in your own team shame on you..I dont think Pacers will win..Pat Bev changes things for us
@@tonytone1395 Hey I truly hope the Bucks prove me wrong. They just have not shown much this season. And the way they are playing now coupled with Giannis injury, I just do not have much hope they will make it pass Indy or make a deep playoff run. I'm not turning my back on my Bucks, I'm just being realistic. I'm going to be there watching them, cheering them on. Hoping they can turn things around. Nobody would be more happy to be proven wrong than I would be.
I am sad to say that the Bucks should shut down Giannis the rest of the season and not risk a career ending injury. He only knows how to play one way and that is full throttle and the team just doesn’t look like a Championship contender this year.
@@user-es3bq5kf5e I couldn't of said it better.
It's always something! What can go wrong, Will go wrong. Unbelievable, The same thing happened last year. Your fooling
yourself if you think they can beat
Indiana. We're limping into the playoffs
and have no momentum. The fact that
we lost that 2nd seed after having it for
a better part of the season, Speaks volumes. WE ARE DONE! 9:44
No unfortunately
With or Without Giannis, Bucks are a first round exit. It sucks to say this. Pacers will average 135+ in this series. Dame has been brutally exposed in this Bucks squad. I am praying on my hands and knees that the bucks make it, atleast to the ECF but they won't. Like I said last time, blow it up and rebuild around Giannis for next year. Get whatever value you can for Dame and bring in some youth and athleticism. Dame is a horrible decision maker, his ability to make clutch shots has papered over his inability to run an offense or defend. Sucks but the season is over. Rest GA and dont risk an Achilles injury.
Your bandwagon services are no longer required, you're free to go
@@gotaplanstan Sorry, I will stay and eat my words and apologize if Dame proves me wrong. It's not like I want the Bucks to lose. It's that I haven't seen anything in the 82 games that tell me they can stop the Pacers.
@@munazilrahman7001 na that's not necessary. We're downsizing the fanbase before the infection of bandwagons spreads too much. You're free to go.
If the pacers didn’t get Siakam the bucks would have a chance but they literally have 0 chance if Gianni’s doesn’t play
In a weird way I'm not worried about Siakam, he's not like a high riser or super athletic, I feel like crowder should be able to play good D on him for a bit as well. The only benefit crowder will provide. But if Doc would just utilize Green, jackson and Marjon more, and even Livingston, we could compete and have a chance, but he's too stubborn, relying on old players, that are slow. The older you are the faster you get tired.
justin i want the hat!
Bucks couldn’t even beat the the grizzlies g league team and you think they can beat the pacers without giannis
Yes..
Portis has had 4 and 6 pt games what’s consistent about that
In an 82 game season, when you have like 5 single digit games vs 70+ 10 or more games then that by definition is consistent because the 4 and 6 pt games are an outlier. Simple math.
If Giannis misses more than 1 Game, then it is time for a complete rebuild.
Team is too old and the Best Player (Giannis) is hurt for the 3rd time out of Last 4 Playoff Runs.
And one of those 3 times he won you a championship.
Considering how bad Dame has been in the pick and roll this year( both as a scorer and playmaker), his favorite play, no we can't hold out without Giannis. All we can hope is Dame gets hot from three because he's just a super charged scorer. His playmaking is blah. We need Giannis to generate better looks on offense for the rest of the team
He is playmaking is better than blah, he finds people in their flow. It's the reason why Lopez gets those great passes in 3 point land, same with Beasely and Portis. He finds them.
@@marktrail8624No he doesn't. You need to dribble deep into the paint before you pass on a pick and pop to generate an open look. Giannis/Khris understand this and execute it perfectly. Dame picks up his dribble too early, and when he passes to Brook or Bobby it gives the defense more than enough time to help on Dame's drives and recover to the three point shooters. He's just lucky that Brook and Bobby are good shot makers. Otherwise, our offense would stall under Doc even more than it already does. Hell, he doesn't even handling trapping on pick and rolls well because he doesn't do a good job of delivering pocket pass to Giannis or Brook when they roll to the rim. If they hedge on a screen, he doesn't deliver a bullet pass to Giannis so he can make a play. His shot selection is poor, he runs a slow pace offense, and he doesn't often deliver entry passes to bigs sealing off their man in the post, preferring to go iso if they switch on him, when he's been a mediocre iso scorer this year. He's not the kind of playmaker I thought he was, and I thought the world of him before seeing his season here.
@@smgyro1476very well said!
No chance... The only way they pull off this miracle is if Dame becomes the one we knew from Portland.
This wouldn't be a miracle. The Pacers are the easiest possible matchup for the Bucks. They're the only team besides the Bulls that wouldn't scare me, even without Giannis.
@@husbandofsamus It lands somewhere in the middle with no Giannis. A rough start for dame could have them down 0-2 heading to Indiana. They'd have to make a tough decision on Giannis.
@@husbandofsamus In theory yes... Need i remind you the way we played against trash teams all year?
Dame was never a great point guard. Just a good scorer in Portland, and even then, he was never THAT efficient. It's just horrendous now. He's a highlight merchant. You can't depend on him to carry a team throughout a series. He's just as likely to be a liability through his horrible defense
@@smgyro1476how did he beat thunder 4-1 in the playoffs without another all star teammate???
Celtics didn't steamroll the Bucks.
Won't matter. Bucks will never see them
Brook is unplayable in this series due to speed and transition defense. If we take out the transition and we get prime Dame we will have a chance cause we will bully them half court.
I dont see Bobby stopping Miles Turner.
