      @@JoanMFC Thank you, Joan! From a runner's perspective, I do like it a lot! It's just that the weather now is maybe too hot and humid for my taste.

    Are runners an unusual sight in Japan?

      You can see runners anywhere, but usually on routes that have fewer interruptions, such as running beside train tracks or along channels and rivers.
      This is especially common in the evening when the sun and heat are gone. (Japan does not have daylight saving time, so in the summer, the sun rises at around 4:30 AM.)
