This friend group is such a mood lmao. Seems like you had a lot of fun. And I really need to finally visit this last cafe you mentioned. These cinnamon rolls look soo good!
this was super exciting and helpful to see since im going to korea in around 2 weeks! i had a quick question--how did you go about getting a korean phone number/sim card? i unlocked my phone i have in the US but am unsure the best/cheapest option between getting a korean e sim card, getting a korean data plan, etc. ty!!
hey! that's so exciting i hope you have fun :) i personally got a very bad phone plan because of KT lowkey scamming me, but i think the easiest option was to go to any phone store (like LG SKT and KT) in the airport and purchase a sim card there immediately. The better plans will give you unlimited text and call with 15GB (or more) of data for around 25,000 to 30,000 won per month. Those are the plans that most study abroad students had. To my knowledge, the data plan is linked with the e-sim card so you probably will get a data plan after you purchase a sim card.
@@k.ellymoon ahh ok thank you this is helpful! so did you pause your data plan you had back in the US or did you pay for both a US and Korea plan at the same time?
happy (belated) birthday david!!!!

@@madebyymira i personally have a family plan so i didn't pause my plan but i think pausing it won't hurt if you aren't going to use it
