Honestly, gloves while magnet fishing sucks. If you've never been magnet fishing before then you dont know. They DO NOT keep your hands dry. And if somehow you do manage to keep water out, they will fill with pools of sweat rather quickly. Is it safer? Absolutely. Is it worth dealing with the discomfort? Not in my opinion.
