It’s no secret to anyone who watches Disney that two of the biggest shows, particularly on Disney XD, would be Amphibia and The Owl House. And that is for good reason. Those shows are really good. One is better than the other, but I’ll leave you dangling on which I prefer. Both are shows centered around a protagonist with a rather normal life being sucked into a fantastical world through a portal that they happen upon somehow, whether it be a door in an abandoned house, or a box in an old antiques shop. The protagonist finds themselves stuck in another world, searching for a way to get home. Despite how similarly these serieses are, the protagonists of each, Luz Noceda and Anne Boonchuy, couldn’t be more different. While both are slightly similar in tone, neither are completely the same in the deeper ends of personality. Luz is upbeat, kind, and a geek like us. She loves her fantasy novels and her anime shows, so to be “Isekai’d” in real life must be an absolute dream come true for her. Anne on the other hand has severe doubts about herself deep down. Under the surface, Anne can be described as lonely, self-centered, and socially awkward. These stand in direct opposition to Luz. And while both protagonists display incredible strength of will, as well as some character development, neither can be considered to be your typical Mary Sue. They have their own issues. For Anne, it’s what she thinks about, and how she treats, herself. For Luz, it’s what others think about her. However, these bugs in personalty and character are slowly worked out through their journey to the other world and through the growth they find when interacting with the denizens there. But now we come to the meat of this what-if. What would have happened if they hadn’t traveled to the worlds where they landed?

Actually like, enjoy and agree with all most every you say, except... I think that it doesn't matter if is Anne or Luz, in the second temple the jem will not finish to charge and Luz will still be connected to the stone and that will appear, but she will use that power to shoot projectiles
Season of amphibia has been finished so is it possible to make a redo w/ season 3 included or a part 2?
For the Ivy in the run I think Luz would talk to Ivy's mom bout how she shouldn't put so much pressure on Ivy and to just tell that's that she's preparing her to travel the land together or else she'll push Ivy away, telling her about her relationship with her own mother.

Yeah i kinda hated that, like i get she was preparing her but she did it on the most condescending way possible, instead of doing it a way Ivy would have liked or telling her about it.

I would definitely would love to see in a sequel what if scenario of what if Anne Boonchuy was in The Boiling Isles
She technically would still be connected to the stones since she never goes to the temple, so imagine that coming into play

Honestly, the biggest difference between Luz in Amphibia vs the Calamity trio is how her presence there would be far more positive and far more active on making the lives around her better wheras the trio was more spent on working through their own issues and their toxic friendship

Keep in mind, neither human characters would have the skills we know them for in their respective fantasy worlds. So the Calamity Trio may become witches, Luz would be, a somewhat non-magical sword fighter.
I think she would be more along the lines of a Paladin from DnD, or perhaps a magical sub-class for non magic class, such as an Eldridge Knight fighter.
How about a crossbow? that's Polly's biggest wishes

Actually strike what I said. I just realized that Wartwood would start off by despising Luz out of fear, because that's how they reacted to Anne. As if Luz didn't have enough isolation issues on Earth
Marcy and Luz are pretty complimentary.
I could see Luz reacting in a similar way towards Sprig as she did when she first met King.

I feel like Luz would never be as close to Sprig as Anne was, but the conversation on the balcony about their lost parent/parents would definitely be an emotional moment that brings the two closer together.

Wait, would they be able to recharge that gem? Luz has no connection to the calamity box, so her power wouldn't be drained the way Marcy and Sasha's powers were (Anne stopped before the process was complete, which is why she still had her powers).

Unless...Whatever made Anne and Luz switch places also split the power of the blue gem between the two girls. So Luz could have had 50% of the blue gem's power in her.

Seeing as how at the start, he states that they "crossed the beams", I think he means that the portal door and the Calamity box were interfering with each other, and that's why Anne fell out of the sky in the Isles without the box and Luz appeared in Amphibia. So, it's not too unbelievable that she has a fraction of Calamity magic in her, but unlike Anne, hers would be far less. So the charging of the stones would completely drain her, but the gem should only have a little power, like less than a quarter.
I'm glad you're doing the "Anne in the owl house" episode. I wonder how different Anne's and Amity's relationship would be? I doubt they'd be together (girlfriends) but hopefully, they become best friends.

The first epizode would be pretty much same. Anne meet Eda. Anne meet King. Anne would have propably helped them so she could go home. After they would have defeat Warden Anne would have propably go home because she doesn't have a dream to become witch like Luz not to mention she wanted to go home since epizode 1

@@maximgvozdic3009 Well, Luz is also energetic and Amity could live with it. (much more energy and same dorks as her sibling especially her brother) Even though she's not learning martial arts she does train hard for fighting. Pretty strong even without it if u ask me

My sons (5 and 9) and I just finished Amphibia, and man, I was BLOWN AWAY. The writing, the comedy, the pacing, the lore, the arcs, it is surely one of the best shows I've ever seen. It can be pretty heavy at times, but doesn't cop out to quick fixes and shallow platitudes. Loved it
Wait if luz got too amphibia through the door the calamity box still would have been in that pawn shop and still would have sent the trio too amphibia.
I hope we have a part 2 to this (especially since Amphibia has concluded now) and the story of Anne in the Boiling Isles.
I know right I personally can't wait for the reaction of the Witches to see Anne practicing martial arts, or Amity trying to learn about human Thai culture.

No romance between as, I'm not sure for certain, but I think Anne is straight. Given that the only relationships she ever talks about in Amphibia were hetero. As far as I remember.

What If Saiyans Escape Destruction Of Planet Vegeta (Dragon Ball) And Landed On Realm Of Edenia (Mortal Kombat)
there is one point to have in account: what if luz learn maddie's way of sorcery? since we can assume that maddie have no bill sack, her sorcery seems diferent from that of the boiling isles, and it makes me wonder if, after learn many sorcery from maddie, such sorcery would still work for luz in the human realm...
To me this plot is kind of interesting. A human getting lost in a new world and wanting to get home and finding other humans who they never met before also wanting to get home. Also how would THIS version of Luz react to a version of Anne who went to the boiling isles.
A lot of this is like if Marcy landed in Wartwood, which is understandable

"One is better than the other" I think its unfair to say that, I'd go to put one on for one reason and the other for a different one, that doesn't mean they aren't both some of the most exciting "tween cartoons" out in the last 3 years
The Disney isekai arc has probably been good for kids, especially with the way the world has been.

I don’t wanna be that guy, but it seems that this is based on what people want it to be and not what it would actually be.
For example: I don’t think Luz would even be able to handle the mantis. It would be much too fast and way too strong for her. Plus where could she possibly go that would neutralize the mantis without nuetralizing herself?
Im not really sure Luz would she’d be able to survive at all in Amphibia, shown in the first episode of the owl house. When it comes down to a life or death Luz isn’t really the most ready. Anne had to survive 3 days in the wild, something Luz possibly couldn’t do as she hasn’t really shown no forest actual survival skills.
This video kinda makes Luz seem like an Angel and Anne seem like a problem child. With Luz’s only notable flaw being she’s kinda “weird”. But in reality their both just as flawed as the other. And I find strange that this video doesn’t reflect that.
Some of Luz’s flaws is: Luz has a temper while Anne is more chill, Luz is frail while Anne is athletic, Luz lacks common sense while Anne atleast has an average amount, Etc.
I don’t hate Luz. She’s cool and skilled in her own ways. But this video kinda seems to overestimate her and down put Anne. Which is really strange.
And the most important thing of all, the powers of the stones, Luz (since she had no contact with the Calamity Box in the way Anne Sasha and Marcy had) wouldn't be able to charge the 2 stone

I just thought of something, if we are crossing the streams this way then one would assume that Anne ended up in the boiling Isles. and of course, when Eda is boasting about how she's the best witch to the crowd to the crowd to impress Anne. A certain basilisk would slip into the Human Realm, and would be confronted by Camila, and Vee would try to disguise herself as the first Human she's seen, Anne.

Okay, but how does Luz recharge the stone, when the stone's power is within Anne? The show states that the gem's powers were transferred into the girls when they used the music box, and the temple thing was them returning the power to the gems and denying their destiny.
you sure that they could charge the Heart gem? the way that it worked in amphibia is that it took the powers out of the girls and put it back in the stones. but you've made no references to Luz being connected to the stone, and as far as were aware, Anne's still the one with the heart of calamity who is presumably in the boiling isles.
i was lukewarm on this at first but was it really interesting how u guys put it together. This actually surprised me a bit.
I overall enjoyed this take on Luz in Amphibia! The only two things I think is a bit confusing is if the Marcy betrayal would’ve still happened with Andrias telling Sasha about it and how Eda’s portal door was able to sent Luz to Amphibia instead and not the BI while Anne didn’t get into Amphibia when it happened right when Marcy got her the box(though that probably be explained in your “What if Anne went to the Boiling Isles?” Video). Though I still enjoyed this very much and I’m excited for part 2. I will say though I’m curious for how Anne would stay in the Boiling Isles as since Anne isn’t like Luz or Marcy who would want to stay there to live out a fantasy, it’s kinda hard to imagine her staying that long.

Now that i think about it Polly would be dead since Anne and Sprig are the ones who created Frobo by accident, and in True Colors Frobo is the one who save Polly, and i don't think Luz would have been able to defeat Andrias because of his strenght and the frobots army

@@knucklestheceoofmemes7755 Yes and no, their many ways for Anne to stay in the boiling Isle, for instance Eda may convince Anne to stay because she may need her muscle; Anne may stay because she thinks of her friends are on the boiling Isles as well and she must search high and low for them, or maybe she stays in the demon realm because she views it as an escape from the reality of her family moving away. And that is just few out of many, personally I think Anne stays because she is enthralled by the character of Eda as a rebel and woman who does what she wants and with a disregard to what other say, and wants to follow in her footsteps.

Speaking of season 3, it does make me wonder how it would had played out in this scenario due to Anne usage of the blue gem power. Luz would used the growth spell again against mecha Andria and they somehow destoryed the Core/ Darcy helmet before it flew off to the moon?

Hm, i have to say this were a pretty interesting Story and thought experiment,
Though, i have to say, that the beginning, as well as some certain Plot-Points, i felt were a little lazily made,
Regardless, i think this went sort of how i would’ve expected it go, especially when considering that Luz is basically Marcy if Marcy were the protagonist,
However still though, while i think this was a well enough thought out What If Story, i feel that this could’ve been thought out a little more.
Still interesting idea though.

It would be really fun to see that Anne was put in the owl house world but I feel like a lot of the episodes wouldn’t happen or part may or wouldn’t I think what happened was the owl lady was using her portal to earth like normal but it went on the fritz and when Luz entered it she got out in amphibia. Then the box noticed that there was 3 kids in amphibia already and it kicked Anne into the boiling island.

in teh episode of the crazy scientist lady in amphibia, we see a glance at the owl house depicted as a pixelated picture. This means, annes human world and luzs human world are in tha same universe

A key element I think your forgetting is that throughout s1 Luz could always go home, and even still had contact with her mom, something that would not be posable in this scenario
True, but then again she may think her friends are also on the boiling Isles as well, plus if nothing else, may Anne would stay on the boiling Isles because of how she may see Eda and the demon realm as a fourm of rebelling against her parents and the process of moving. But that's just my Ideas what are yours?

Although realistically I don't see Anne enrolling in hexide since she wouldn't really be that interested as luz and it was a lot of trouble. Maybe just a look like luz did in "I am a teenage abomination" to see if her friends are there.

I love this but can you do a kingdom hearts what if sora was in amphibia or the owl house set after the events of Kingdom hearts 3 he would still have access to the keyblade and all his magic and abilities including summons like Simba or stitch.

@@cjgamer6356 for example Sora has to stay behind in amphibia to lock the music box after anna Sasha and Marcy leave to go back home the guardian tells Sora may his heart be his guiding key it has also met one of the keyblade wielders of the age of fairy tales the master of Masters he told the guardian that one day a keyblade wielder will come again.

I think the events of the dead phone episode would also change, perhaps there was a curse that created electricity to charge her phone and the planters are looking for ingredients.
I hope they can do a what if series based on this. This would so be a must watch and a new idea to try out

1: No blue Calamity user
2: Luz would be dead because Sasha won't care for random.
3: All Luz will do will show-off her glyphs because as said, "Luz cares for what others think of her" (but will epicly fail)
4: Having Anne Boonchuy in Amphibia is better than having Luz Noceda because she would easily die if she had no Calamity early signs, and glyphs only work in the World of Witches.
5: Luz would ruin all the feelings with that fruity stuff (even with frogs ,_,)

I think both shows are good because the character development reminds me of the way it’s done in manga and anime. The characters start out underdogs and become great through effort and personal growth. 😃

One thing that's minor, but is 100% incorrect is saying Luz finds frogs disgusting. This is a girl that handles snakes no problem and has no issue with spiders crawling on her.
