So, backstory here is that Lighter started out with a mercenary group. The members of that group he was close with died- so he took on a colossal debt to make sure Dane's (the main guy in the beginning) little sister could live a life without having to fight. The debt being dropped is what the numbers we see dropping are. Eventually, Big Daddy finds Lighter in those pits and pays off his debt- effectively trading ownership of Lighter. Instead of making Lighter his slave, Big Daddy charges him with protecting the Sons Of Calydon as best he can. Now, Lighter continues to protect them not just because of his oaths to Big Daddy, but because they have become family.
This EP is honestly maybe my fav, they're all good, but this music is my fav(Burnice's music was not an EP), MAYBE tied with Ellen's music, and this one had a lot of storytelling in it. The other EPs have just crumbs of storytelling imo. Also daaang, Kuma, you really cranked all of these out, huh? I know you put a lot of effort into your editing, so I hope you don't burn yourself out on vids back-to-back like this. Remember you can always watch stuff like this during streams sometimes instead if you want a break from editing them.(I know you like editing them though, I just hope you don't get overwhelmed )
