Hey, man. Great video. I followed the blue line into Mazatlan in January 2024; it was an easy walk and I never felt unsafe. I did not, however, encounter all the cabs at the beginning of the blue line like you did; perhaps they had taken the day off when I was there. I'm a big guy (6'3" and 300#) and the walk was not difficult. I love how you said you walked "on 2 bad knees" and you still managed to get everywhere you wanted to go. I'm returning to MZT in November and I'm going to find my way - on foot - to the Cathedral (I missed it last time) and the cliff divers. I've still got my map and I'll use your video as a guide. 🙂
You did it, nice. As you saw, the walk wasn't bad. You just go at your own pace. If you have Verizon, you automatically have the Mexico coverage. Your GPS on your phone will work. Have fun in November. You won't be disappointed at the Cathedral and the cliff divers. On your way to the cliff divers, make sure you go to Casa de Colores. That's the street with the colorful buildings Address: Calle Gral Angel Flores 278-386, Centro 82000. BTW, did you make it to a Pasteleria Panama bakery? It's a must.
@@TJsDestinations-ql1lq I did not, as it happens, go to Panama Bakery although I had heard about it before and I understand that it's great. I was really trying to watch what I ate so as not to overdo it. Maybe next time.
I'm glad you're going to do it. It saves you money compared to the cruise ships that charge a lot for the same thing you're doing. Don't forget to bring water to hydrate. Let me know how it went 👍
Did you walk around town in Mazatlán? If so, did you feel safe?

Great video, thanks! Planning to do this very walk on my upcoming cruise.
