    We are a couple who once fell in love with mountains and couldn't get back. So we decided to follow our heart and move from a big city to a small village to be able to do what we love and to create this content. Our goal is to promote the healthy lifestyle, to motivate people to travel more and care for nature around. We are passionate walkers who love hiking, trekking and camping. We offer the detailed information of our hikes and routes, including the map and all the directions, so that you can repeat it if you'd like to.
    We choose walking over driving and other types of transportation whenever we can because we learnt that this way we see so much more and can explore and feel the place better. Walking is an excellent activity that has so many benefits to your health and requires no special equipment or practice, so we encourage you to get the most out of it and get out walking.

    I keep seeing this pad in ultra-endurance cycling setups and I was waiting for a review so great to see your video about it! I've been using the Robens Prima Vapour 60 for a couple years now, it's a honeycomb cell pad with an rvalue of 2.2 and it was not much more expensive back then (around 60eur), packs to a similar size and weighs a bit less, so I think I'll be sticking to it!

    How does it compare to the yellow version (the old one) or are the same?

      We think they are pretty much the same from what we could see in the shop itself

      @@WalkingNatureWorld great, because they had the "old" yellow version at 55 CAD and the "new" one at 75 CAD, so I got the yellow one (the XL on both).
      Thanks for the review!!

    Does it sags after sleeping a night on it? I have sagging in the morning and i am not sure if it is just sagging or it is deflating.

    • @kevinroche3334
      @kevinroche3334 9 месяцев назад +1

      I have had that problem with this mat sometimes - make sure the caps are fully shut before sleeping. It's actually very good for hammocks as it curves around the sleeper and doesn't slide too much.

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  9 месяцев назад +1

      We did experience sagging with most of our pads when inflating with hot air and the temperature outside was colder. Also it can change a bit during the night. Of course making sure that the caps are closed is a good tip too. But sometimes a little deflation is inevitable depending on conditions you are in.

    @morfgo 11 месяцев назад

    how did the mold damage look like? is there any way to prevent this?

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  11 месяцев назад

      Yes, now we always recommend using at least a simple fabric air pump that is lightweight but prevents any moisture from getting inside as in the case of inflation by mouth. It looked like black dots formed inside but seen from the outside too.

    • @morfgo
      @morfgo 11 месяцев назад

      @@WalkingNatureWorld was the sleeping bag still functioning "normally" and the damage was "only" disgusting to look at?
      Or was it unsuable

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@morfgo It started to leak so it wasn't holding the air pressure anymore, and the leakage was very difficult to find. And when we did found one and sealed it with a patch, another appeared in a different place soon. Then it never ends.

      @@WalkingNatureWorldcover the valve opening with a bandana and blow into the valve. The bandana will provide a screen for moisture and reduce its impact by a lot. But of course a pump sack works even better.

      Great to hear that! This is all comes down to personal preference, we are just so used to honeycomb shape. But the quality of it is beyond doubt as always👌🏻

      @@WalkingNatureWorld well I changed the first one which had 3 micro holes inside. Was drflated till the first morning of use. They just gave me what someone had used already, almost screw my camping in France. But didn't have issues with a new one.

    Just get insulated pad. More R is better. I use 5,9 or 6,9R. And add foam pad on snow.
    1,5R is nice when you want to cool down.
