Just had this and it was a strange experience to say the least. Massaged my hand and it let up a bit, I think it has something to do with excessive manual labor, pretty much the only work I enjoy is lifting or moving things, and when I'm home I usually play games so I'm sure my hands haven't been getting alot of rest.
i have this since i was 20-21, I'm 31 now. my palms and fingers are very sore from time to time. When I wake up in the morning the fingers in my left hand are locked and I have to forcefully open them. This doesn't occur every night though. My fingers and palm hurt during daytime too.
I love it they say after 50 yrs of age, not in my case. 6 yrs ago I had my left trigger thumb surgery. At 47 I'm now experiencing my right thumb now has it also I have carpal tunnel too.. 17 yrs as a barber/hairdresser will do it I suppose
I'm 13 and I can't tell if I have trigger finger and I don't really wanna tell my parents since they'll tell me it's because of me cracking my knuckles but I will anyway since I'll probably regret it later on
I dont think so, just ask your doctor about it. I honestly don't think the ER can do anything for you at that moment except work it open and send u on ur way with some steroids and a doctor referral or something. I've had it for as long as I can remember in one finger, it only happens when I sleep and is extremely painful to open. I think it's because I make a tight fist 👊 while I sleep. I was just diagnose with type 2 diabetes and hypertension, and im 39. So you may want to ask your doctor sooner rather than later, as both of these can be fatal if not gotten under control. Best of luck to you!
@@samanthahicks3333 Did you have any corticosteroid injection for it? I work with an orthopedist who usually recommends a trial of 3 injections for less severe trigger fingers and trigger finger release procedure for more severe cases.
@@tanvirahmed539 no, I haven't tried anything for it. I do not have medical insurance so doctors visits are hard to come by unfortunately. But I will keep this in mind bc it is painful and I feel like I'm gonna snap my finger off everytime I wake up and have to open my hand. Thank you!

I don't know about anyone else but my problem didn't start until after it locked and it never once hurt, but I did get steroid injections for it.
