Teri passed away in Nov. 2016 at the age of 82. In later years, Teri resurrected her modeling and acting career, making an appearance on the "Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson, and performing in community theater. From her late 60's and into her 70's, she shared her beauty and talents as a regular entertainer at many retirement homes throughout South Florida.
Cannot beat Johnny - In 81 I was visiting hollywood and we got tickets to the show as fillers , we were the last 2 let in to fill the seats, I got a solo seat almost exactly where that lady sat, stage was actually so small compared to how it looks on TV, johnny, Ed and Doc where all there, GREAT!
Hi Ed! I have a similar story...except '91. They put me in seat reserved for 'regulars', a couple who attended every day! Thousands of shows. They took the day off so I got in. Agree with the small size. Also surprised Johnny got the best lighting for his monologue (2 big box lights, one on each side) that they did not use any other time or for other performers. Ed came out as a warm up act before filming began.
Remembering all the Tonight Shows with Carson I watched going back to the '60's, I always found it impossible not to laugh and smile when Johnny was on his game. For 30 years, it was the best show on TV.
Uh, no offense, but I do recall that it was 29 years plus change. I remember Johnny saying that there was no way in hell that he was going to host for 30 years.
