You can't get into that theater anymore, and you can't get into the restaurant anymore, and you can't, well, what the hell. All we can do is see these things on RUclips. Maybe that is all we will ever see of the world anymore.

This is another example why I loved the Carson show. There has never been anything like it since. Letterman came the closest but his wit was not on a par with Johnny's.

@@oneeyedman99 I saw the show live in 2013 and when he was warming up the crowd before the show he was energetic and funny, but once the actual show started, while good in some parts, it was kind of in auto-pilot.
Never missed Johnny going back to "who do you trust" and every night forever and now never even think about watching any of the late night shows, there are a million channels and yet nothing like Carson on any of them. The GOAT.
