I have had them for 2.5 years now and I use them regularly, I can confirm they still look like new, the build quality is really solid. The cushions are like clouds, I got addicted to them. Another thing, not mentioned in the video, is the software with a lot of settings, including the spatial sound, that takes them to another level, just incredible. The vanilla sound is great, but if you use the software it turns averything to 11, you NEED to try it.
I actually got to this channel because I was looking for a wireless replacement for them, I still can't find it though. The comfort, the sound, the functionality, it's impossible to find a match without breaking the bank, so I am still looking. Will probably spend over 200 for a wireless equivalent, that's how high the bar is for me now, damn them lol
Best bang for the buck on the market, and as I mentioned above, they will last long
Are you ear pads flaking yet? After a year and a half of use mine are starting to flake a little at the top of one ear pad. Best headset I ever owned for the money. I just upgraded to the Corsair HS80 wireless because I can't stand the wire against my arm all the time and re adjusting it all the time to get it out of my way.
@Kaiser187 A wireless E900 exists, it's called the E910
they have e910, wireless headset that uses 5.8ghz which is kinda rare at that price point. you might like them
What settings do you use
awesome review! you've convinced me to buy this
A very honest review. Deserves a like and a sub!
This is the review i want to see. I've Been eye-ing this headset last year, bought the e900 because i was not sure with the pro one but luckily i found a $20 dollar one today here in the ph market. Bought it instantly! Waiting it to be shipped.
This is what I needed for a friend getting into the PC Master Race. He inherited some of my old parts and friends chipped in other parts to get him a decent start. Thank you for the review
I finally ordered these after contemplating for over 3 months. Thanks for making me feel like I made the right decision
My cousin just got an Xbox and I was thinking of getting him a headset because he’s into warzone and stuff. I’m thinking this would be a great first headset. I remember when I first got a headset. It made a world of difference. Thanks for the video, definitely subscribing.
Thanks Walter! That’s nice of you to do that for him.
thnx men im going to buy it
what's the boost did you apply to the headset? love the review btw
hi may i know what camera set up you are using on your videos? love the wide angle
I was checking out some of your older gaming headset reviews and since you have reviewed quite a few cheaper headsets too, I was wondering whether you are aware of headsets called Cooler Master MH751 and MH752 (these are basically identical headsets with different accessories)?
I personally am a big fan of those headsets and I feel that they are at least on par with HyperX Cloud headsets, but they are not so well-known. However, I prefer their sound profile over the HyperX headsets. They also have a pretty nice soundstage, especially for a sub $100 closed-back headset.
In fact, they are based on fairly popular Takstar Pro 82 "monitoring" headphones and therefore they are pretty great for music listening as well. They are not the most accurate and flat for listening to music, but the music sounds damn good via them for a gaming headset.
I would recommend you to at least check them out if you are not aware of them already, even though they are not the newest headsets in the town. And I would not mind to watch another headset review made by you if you would find them worth a review. 😄
i cant find any software update my sound didnt work, can u help me?`
I've been running this headset for about 4 months now. Sound and feel is great! However, massive downside is the microphone. Even when you adjust settings, your mic is quiet.
Are you on PC/Console? PS and XBOX both feature mic sensitivity adjustment, as does PC. I had to boost it a little, as I don't speak too loudly when I play at night. This was still better than the SteelSeries Arctis Prime mic by quite a large margin believe it or not. Sorry it's been a bit faint for you!
@Waseque Kabir my pair may be defective then. not surprising if you look at their registration website. its stuck in 2003
@@jadefalconUSA bro really the Mike is good of this one 🤔🤔
Does this mic block background noise??
you are the best.
I don't think I'll be throwing my PC38X's in the trash for these anytime soon, but decent low cost options are always nice. I was expecting the mic quality to be way worse. It's actually better than some mics that cost a lot more.
I wouldn’t justify getting rid of your PC38X for nearly any gaming headset haha. It’s a top option for a reason! Agreed on the mic here, I was surprised.
It looks like it might be USB-A to the PC. To the headset is it micro USB, or USB-C? I could not tell from your video.
these are good headsets But the leatherette falls apart, you can get replacement but not for the bit that sits on your head
Is this headset better than the Redragon Zeus H510?
Up
A good alternative to the Blackshark V2 X.
Indeed! From a price perspective, This is my favorite under $40 (So far at least). V2 X may look likely cheaper and isn't as comfortable but still a great value. In the $80 range, the Blackshark V2 (non-X) is the next step up to me.
way no way the e900 pro beat headsets that are like 2x or 5x more expensive then it
WAY NO WAYYYY
Lots of quality issues from reviews. BTW the excellent ROCCAT Elo X you reviewed last year is $34.99 now.
They actually changed/revised that model and kept the same old link. This exact model (E900 Pro) has much better reliability and perceived build quality. The Elo X is still a great option, especially at that price. The E900 Pro comes with more for about the same price (bag, USB DAC) and is more comfortable to me. Both mics are great. The Elo X is a little bit better in the high frequencies with less sub bass. Both are great options!
Love my B&O Xbox headset.
As you should! Haha
Correction $39.09? Can't wait to Try Them Out.
It's possible they adjusted the price as inflation seems to affect everything. Even at $40 it's an awesome value. I was really impressed.
Aliso Viejo , nice choice. Car reviews anyways.
Haha thanks. It’s been a while since I’ve done a car review! It’s a big undertaking each time so I rarely ask. Perhaps in a couple months I’ll get back into it.
Yes, EKSA E900 Pro is one of the best gaming headset for Zoom/Teams meeting by its USB cable with notebook (built-in sound chip in it). Microphone quality is good!
I think it's a good value for kids who earn the least and can afford it. I prefer to spend no more than 30$ and get a top notch quality.
Why does it never occur to them to record microphone audio? Terrible review
