I’m happy to see you doing well Arrge. I remember when you weren’t going to be able to continue streaming a while back but I’m glad you were able to stick with it and find success! You’re the best Hanzo in the world in my opinion :)
he's definitely become my Hanzo inspiration. I try to emulate his playstyle and for the most part, when I've had my practice in, I can do pretty good. Def gonna use "Assassin Hanzo" on my smurf
I really like these sort-of highlight videos with smooth editing. I really appreciate how the editing has a more minimalistic style that focuses on and accentuates the gameplay.
People really need to focus more on gameplay nowadays, so many youtube videos on overwatch no highlights all feeding and just talking on mic with too much edits
I love watching you play hanzo it just looks like a unique form of art, the way you aim and the way you position, it reminds me of lhcloudy with Reinhardt, where everyone is locked into one way of playing hanzo and rein but you and cloudy play the heroes completely differently to their max potential and it's so satisfying to watch.
This style is very slick and satisfying to watch! Who'd have thought that not giving away your position with spam would pay off so much in enemy obliviousness... as long as you can hit the shots you do take.
There are so many people on platforms like this with talent and with neat perspectives and playstyles, but the reason I love watching your videos so much is because you have such a niche humor and your trolling is always deserving and very calmly delivered. You are the type of personality that will go very far if your content reaches the majority of Overwatch's playerbase (not that it is booming these days lol).
I watch Overwatch videos for learning the game more than anything else. I like seeing videos of full matches, without over-editing or cutting. It allows me to see the transition in-between team fights, including important information like positioning and setup. Seeing your mistakes is also a way to learn, just like I learn from my own mistakes in-game, so I appreciate these types of full videos more than just the highlights. I especially appreciate more relaxed, non-toxic videos that promote sportsmanship and playing the game for the sake of playing---the challenge, the skill, the teamwork. Not to show off, be toxic, or create drama. I didn't enjoy seeing the frequent teabagging and other toxic things you've been doing in some of the more recent highlight videos, but I did appreciate this one. So please, do more videos like this, Argge.
my 1 trick hanzo acc currently has a OVERALL stat of 50% accuracy w 15% crit after 10 hours in comp. (ive got lots of hours on him those just this season) still get the lucky log bs constantly when I LITERALLY never let an arrow go without it intedning to hit.
Hey Arrge, Just wanted to say, thank you for all your vids, tips, and hanzo aim guide Played abit of ow1 but it wasnt until ow2 that I started playing the game slightly more seriously Your hanzo videos has significantly improved my aim and impact on hanzo Keep the videos up ^_^
I used to be a Hanzo main who had 50-60% aim (mostly from shooting tanks) and 10-15% critical while being good at flicking head shots; However, I would constantly die due to sticking to the front line with my team and peaking first around corners to try to get a kill, or taking long flanks behind enemy lines and getting collapsed on as soon as I start shooting. Emulating Arrge's Assassin Hanzo has drastically increased every aspect of my gameplay. I'm winning more games while my crit % is around 25-30% and my K/D ratio to around 8:1. Besides positioning, the two biggest takeaways I think we can learn from observing Arrge is patience and discipline. When he flanks/takes an off angle, he stands and waits to line up the perfect shot instead of immediately spamming shots like bad Hanzos, my old self included. Learning to have discipline with your shots by reducing movement while letting them walk into your reticle will make a major impact on your gameplay. Hell, Arrge's Hanzo is the most effective I've seen by a mile. When you watch current/formal pros play Hanzo, they play him like almost any other mid-range DPS that sticks with the team and flick too many of their shots. All that being said, practicing your flick shots is still important for those 1v1s on heroes like Tracer and Genji. Sorry for the long comment, thanks a lot Arrge for all the education and entertainment you provide!
I used to play a lot of hanzo but then i stopped because as i climbed i started getting beaten by strafing sojourns and long range ash and widows and many people told me that he cant be viable against decent hitscans and against a decent team. Even the learderboards dont have many hanzos, so i want to know if hanzo is viable and is this playstyle viable against decent enemies who communicate and focus fire at higher levels of play ?
@XNTRΣK First I'll echo what streamers/top500 players have stated in OW2 by saying he is a viable character on most maps and against most team comps with people who can play him but overall could be considered a bit niche. From personal experience he isn't the type of character you should instant lock in all situations unless you are one tricking him. He's amazing on maps that have mid to long sight ranges and multiple, linear angles to take (Gibaltar, Circuit Royal) and great on certain sections of maps (King's Row 1st and 3rd, Blizzard World 1st and 2nd, Eichenwalde 1st and 3rd). He can be hard to play on some maps that are more open ended with a lot of open space and few choke points (Junkertown, Ilios Ruins) When it comes to team comps/hitscans he can struggle at times. For tanks, of course Roadhog is OP and can kill anyone. Skilled Winstons, Balls, and Doomfists can shut you down. Other tanks are situational and depend on map and team comp. When it comes to DPS, Mostly you have to worry about the ones that can one tap you. Sojourn is just so powerful at the moment with her able to two tap people in a split second that she's hard to beat by any character unless you get the jump on her. Watch out for sneaky Junkrats, Widows on really long range maps, and ambushing Echos. Others you have worry about are really skilled Genjis, smart Torbs, (You can't one shot them due to armor), Pharah's with Mercy pocket, and Bastions with godly aim in turret form at mid range where you have no where to escape. Every other DPS and Support can be one tapped with a head shot from any range. So long as your aim is true, they pose no threat. You can one tap a flying Pharah too it's just really hard. Finally when it comes to higher level Elos where they have good communication and focus fire, He's still just as viable as long as he's played right. Don't flank too far from your team, leave yourself an escape route that leads towards your team and not towards the enemy spawn. Don't stick in the same place for very long, get one or two kills and leave. Hanzo is slow with limited mobility. Know when you've overstayed your welcome. Use corners and odd angles to your advantage. As long as you follow those general guidelines, with practice, patients, and actual good aim, you'll be an immortal menace in the shadows who gets the kills to win the team fights. Hanzo can be just as scary and impactful to the enemy team as Samito's Echo, Shadder2K's Genji, or Kephrii's Widow. When it comes to the pros playing in a tournament setting, there are just better characters with better synergy and mobility (and better ultimates) so he gets over shadowed.
Would love to see more! In OW2 it's less about counter picks and counter play, and moreso about changing up your playstyle when you're getting shut down
You inspired me to learn Hanzo to the point where I almost one trick him! Watching your gameplay has made me so much more accurate and consistent with headshots. Love the content :)
Ive been adapting this playstyle more into my games and man its really fun. There is no better feeling than getting free C9 wins because the enemy team rather go kill me than stay on point lol.
Arrge i wanna say thank you, u have made me happier and i love ur vids and i'm a hanzo main now and by seeing all ur skills and all these amazing moments makes me wanna do it too and i've become much more better with Hanzo thanks to u :) keep up the great work !!
hadn’t played ow for years, revisited and along the line decided I had a slight interest in hanzo, found your videos and they’ve since become my inspiration to be a decent hanzo main. keep up the content but don’t drain yourself out.
I like watching your vids cuz I suck at hanzo and enjoy watching a beast play with chill music in the bg and funny commentary when I need to eat or de-stress from ranked. More frequent uploads would be great!
Hey after watching your videos and how to improve my accuracy went from 41% to 51% my highest one game was 58% and I’m now platinum rank. Thank you a lot man!❤
I enjoy this type of content because I'm a filthy assassin style Hanzo enjoyer
agreed, i cant play assassin hanzo because my aim is shit but i love seeing people doing assassin hanzo
I’m happy to see you doing well Arrge. I remember when you weren’t going to be able to continue streaming a while back but I’m glad you were able to stick with it and find success! You’re the best Hanzo in the world in my opinion :)
Agreed ❤
super agreed
From someone who got into Hanzo because of you, please release more Hanzo vids!! Much love
Welcome to the Chad Hanzo Club bud.

I think this is a style that only a few can pull off, the knowledge and experience needed is immense to consistently surprise your enemy
Love these kinda highlight videos, so I'd love to see more! Would also love to see full matches. :D
Love watching you do this, defo makes me better at hanzo…
i love how u witness these calculated shots and enemies sstill be like "oh you're so lucky u play no brain char spamzo" etc
