One shot hanzo got arrge sounding like a horny wolf when it's a full moon or Courage the Cowardly the dog when he stubs his toe.
Now all we need is 6v6 so these 1 shots aren't oppressive on the receiving end!

I mean... it is. But that's muscle memory, aka: skill issue.
I need to get use to aiming again. Personally would like arrow speed increase because now aim is less reliable without global size increase.
Draw time didn't hinder me in any way, so I think people are exagerating too much

True we should celebrate this victory of getting the head shot back but we should not become complacent until Hanzo is coming balanced in its players eyes. And the draw speed nerf is ludicrous and should be reverted.

I really dislike how they keep changing the value of headshot dmg. It's really annoying to find out the hard way every two weeks that hanzo can 1 shot again. Blizzard is just doing shit to do it
lol I get you, I also hate how they kept changing the arrow travel speed and now the bow drawing speed. Really messes up people's muscle memory for a while tbh.

I play rein and would get flamed for having less elims than their dva a lot but you know if I hit you on rein the lowest it could be for is 50 where as dva could be like 2-3. Cause she can just touch you with her shotgun pellets from a mile away. But they don’t understand that ig

At first the draw back time felt terrible, but I got used to it in a couple of minutes just constantly shooting in the practice range.
I should of done this as well.
@@Arrge I also noticed that since the damage scales with the extended draw time, the original muscle memory is enough to kill the 225 targets

Well-done, thank you for the shouts and support for this community. Although there are nerfs like the 0.87, the ledge thing, and the loading arrow before climbing, it is now more of a skill rather than luck.
Honestly they never should’ve changed this. Widow is a hit scan & she is 1 shot. She has a sniper that converts into a fully automatic weapon. Hanzo has a bow & arrow.
You didn’t really make a point here. They use different weapons. And?
@@brycenb2994 Seriously? They’re both DPS. Anyone who knows the characters will pick widow because not only is it easier, but it does more damage. Her weapon is significantly easier to use, yet does more damage. How does that make sense? It’s about balancing the characters. If you get a new player who tries both hanzo & widowmaker, the only reason they’d choose hanzo is because they probably think he’s cooler. Now that they BOTH 1 shot, they can pick which one they want to use based on preference, not damage output. Does that clear things up?
Before Hanzo got nerfed he was played in eSports on maps like liyang in the close up tower because you had good angles for him he by no means fills the same comp as widow since she is so susceptible to dive
It still feels like a decent amount you can't one shot. LW, brig, torb, reaper, mei, bastion, cass, sym. Before season 9 you could one shot the 225 hps, but you can't with the 275s now, which feels like a fair compromise imo.
It's even more fair than you'd think because only mei and Cass are actually decent and bastion is laughably easy to kill on hanzo

I stopped playing OW when they removed it, guess it's time to come back.
I mained hanzo from like 2017/18-2022. I stopped cuz I started one tricking doom, but I'm incredibly happy they reverted this change. It felt so crappy to see people get headshots and 0 kills from them.

I Honestly HATE Hanzos, but i Have to Say: Total Respect to Arrge, this Guy is the *GOD of HANZO*

Its like we're running in circles with these developers. One shots, no one shots, I feel like they can't make up their mind, or too many chefs in the kitchens.

One shot was never the problem. It's just those people yelled the loudest. Removing one shot basically removes all that's unique to fight against certain play style and just make everything pretty much uniform and boring
Next Season: We reverted the health of the 225 HP heroes to 200 and the 2250 Heroes to 225!

Draw speed is fine but I didn't realize that my aim had gotten so lazy. My first game was 22%. My highest so far is 32 lol.

When I just started the new hanzo I felt like dogshit, couldn’t hit a thing (that 4x arrow hitbox really was something huh) but after an hour I got competent again so al around I’m happy with the change. (still upset that reaper has 300 health tho)
