Psycho Fox is a video game published by Sega for the Master System in 1989. In Brazil, Tectoy released the game as Sapo Xule: Os Invasores do Brejo (translated as "Xule Frog: Invaders of the Swamp" ), in which Psycho Fox and his friends were replaced by Sapo Xule (a Brazilian comic frog character), a pig, a turtle and a mouse.
One thing to note is that the game features secret warps as well. Since the purpose here is to show it in its entirety, this is a warpless playthrough.

The credits, hahaha! You really get the impression that the team who worked on this game were friends with those kinds of nicknames, and one of them having the job title of "Responsible Person".

I love this game and managed to finish it when I was 10 years old.
Great memories, and the "strange" controls are not a problem when used to them. :-]

I played this game so much as a kid to the point I found the warp in the first level to the last 3 levels of the game lol and could finish it in like 8-10 minutes

It's just like Kid Kool on NES. Kid Kool and Psycho Fox were part of the same family of games by Vic Tokai.

Loved this as a kid. Watching it now though you can see how frustrating the character momentum is. That pathetically slow jump. Aaaargh!

Since you mentioned Sapo Xulé on the description, here goes some explaining lol
"Xulé" is a wordplay with "Chulé", that is a slang for feet bad odor. The frog was named this because there is a popular child's song that says "the frog does not wash his foot... because he doesn't want to. What a "chulé". This is supposed to instigate children to wash their feet I think lol

I LOVED this game when I was 10. I had a Sega but didn’t have Psycho Fox but my neighbour did so I was constantly round his house begging to play it 😏

...what the HECK was this game's premise?
According to the manual, it's just your typical 'defeat the bad guy' story. You're Psycho Fox who can change into other animals and you have to defeat Madfox (yup) who took over the country. That's basically it.

First game I ever played as a kid. I loved switching characters and I was really good at gaming at 6 years old, cause I beat the game but now my 38 year old self sucks at games like this.😂😂😂

I still think this game is pretty cool. Only thing I couldn't stand these days is the high pitched music.
Is it just me, or does this game feel unfinished? The final stage sounds a little too upbeat.
The final boss was really easy and quick to defeat...after the gruelling game which was difficult!
Controls seem wonky and sound is painful to listen to
The controls aren’t wonky but they’re stiff, once you get used to them they’re decent
