I've been to many islands and beaches across Southeast Asia. Palawan is unmatched so far! Even the very famous Maya Bay of Thailand can't hold a candle to the amazing beaches and lagoons of Palawan!

The drying of the coconuts is for copra. Coconut oil is made by pressing copra. Most shampoos and lots of soaps use coconut oil, it's one of the Philippines' biggest exports

Stay In BGC or Makati area first ,before you venture into islands hopping ,just my suggestion .Will do it, when I return there next year.

The cut coconuts being dried are called copra, they will sell them to copra trading houses.
That coconut drying on the ground, they dry it until it becomes completely black in colour and can be smoke and extract the oil out of it
