Inside UFC Performance Institute Shanghai - A State-of-the-Art Facility for MMA athletes

In this episode the director and cinematographer for our channel had the opportunity to visit UFC Performance Institute Shanghai to experience first hand some of the testing, training and recovery process MMA athletes go through.
Established in 2019, this is the first state-of-the-art facility in Asia to provide MMA trainings, rehabilitation, and competitions for professional fighters. UFC spent over 13 million to built this second performance institute in Shanghai, an existing warehouse was converted to create 93,000 sq ft facility spanning four stories. The layout includes spectator areas, offices, and an octagonal exhibition space used for media broadcasting and filming.
