In this video, we demonstrate how to disassemble the rear wheel of a Bugaboo Donkey in order to replace the tire and/or inner tube.
For help finding correct replacement tires, watch this: ruclips.net/video/S5pDDoQWDlk/видео.html
This was such a useful video. One tip... When the tyre is half on the wheel and you're about to put the inner tube on, put the inner tube in the tyre which is half on the wheel, as opposed to putting the inner tube on the wheel and then trying to put the tyre over it. Hope this makes sense!
Super helpful, thanks!
Big thanks from Poland :) with your profesionel Instruktion i made it.. hope that my self repaer methode keep close the Brick :)
Awesome!
Thank you man!
Hiya, thank you for this useful video. Can you please advise on the inner tube size needed for the exact wheel you're working on in the video.
The tyre size is 47-203. You probably already solved it but figured id answer for anyone in the future looking for this info :)
We just bought a 2017 donkey from marketplace and one of the tyres blew out when i was walking to the shop with my 2yo daughter. Realised her bike had the same size tyres so i got home and took one of the bike wheels off and it worked a treat!
I love your videos! Thank you for sharing your know-how with us! I have a first generation donkey I got used that suffers from shaky front wheels when walking quickly. I used your videos to determine that there is nothing functionally wrong with the stroller. Do you know if the Donkey2 has fixed this issue? Can you share if there is any dramatic improvements in the Donkey2 that aren't mentioned in the general marketing info? All I can tell is that the tires are foam instead of air filled. Thanks!
I'm not sure, but I will check and make a video as soon as we get one in :) If you buy a used / defective buffalo, the frontal housing mechanisms can be swapped out onto your donkey with just a little drilling and re-riveting. The buffalo housings have in-built protection against this issue.
Love your video s very helpfull whats the best wat to remove the Wheel from the chassis?
I had to change a rear tire and now it wont click back in place on the chassi! What do I do now?
Is the tire too large and pressing up against the chassis? or is it a problem with the locking mechanism? If the latter, check out this video, for disassembly: ruclips.net/video/l5YtAaGRK4A/видео.html
