Voltage is only for skill costs. I didn't mention this at all in the video when talking about game mechanics! It actually makes characters with larger hand size even better since they have more resources to use to play cards from hand!

Hey man there's this indie tcg from The Game Crafter called Eldritch Kingdom that I think u should really check out. The art is crazy for an indie game and I think you would enjoy it quite a bit.
It actually looks pretty cool, 🤔 I'll definitely be checking it out, I love the idea of building a deck around a character like commander... One of the games that I recommended you (Avatar Spirits) you play with 4 different characters and fight using skills and techniques .. very inspired by Arcade fighting games, very fun game i have played the game several times with it's creator, for now he has an Spanish version on The game Crafter soon in English too but at least as I know it only will be available for a limited time because I think that he will start printing Avatar Spirits soon for its official release 💪🏻😎 www.thegamecrafter.com/games/avatar-spirits-spanish-
i really dont understand the insistance with setting cards like in this and yugioh. why not do it like mtg and response cards just sit in the hand. the surprise element is even greater as is the bluff one. can someone explain?
I don’t ‘know’, but it may be to do with balancing the factor of hidden information. You telegraph that you have a response but not what the response may be, gives opponent more of a chance to play around counters. One could argue that open mana of a certain colour in MTG is enough to telegraph you may have a play, but bluffing is part of Magic where the developers of YGO and G&G may not want bluffing to be as much of a factor.

Good catch! I was on a pretty strict deadline for this video since I wanted to get it out before the Kickstarter but this is 100% correct!
