I am always wary of levels off spec... 1st possibility is that they played with the pots, which is quite real when your unit comes from especially some part of the country, 2nd possibility is that they were off for a reason. I recently fixed and tuned one of my K770ES, levels were all over the place, it worked like a charm for... well probably 10 hours and now I have one channel recording almost completely down. Perhaps they were off for a reason?
