There was this arcade game that was ported to the Sega Genesis, the final boss is some sort of alien looking thing, and you go around saving animals from poachers, ever think of doing a playthrough of the arcade version?

It is still classic and fun. My childhood memory
And Rip Arthur Malet (Tootles), one of the original Lost Boys.
This version came out before all of those and was never ported, so it’s kind of hard to compare an obscure arcade game with something current-gen.
