2 weeks before VPT's transition to digital, the FCC passed a law called the "DTV Delay Act", which gave stations to decide to switch to digital on the following: - June 12. - A day after June 12. - A day before June 12. VPT chose to do the original February 17 date, signing off at 12 midnight.
As far as I know, everyone in Vermont and Rhode Island went on the 17th (Save for WSBE, who went off around January 19th due to Transmitter Failure). Springfield MA was also all digital after 2/17/09, WGBY actually went digital in November of 2008. All the Major Stations in the Boston (WGBH (Arguably THE Flagship station for PBS), WBZ (New England's Oldest TV Station), WCVB, WHDH/WLVI, and WSBK) and Hartford-New Haven (WFSB, WNHC, WVIT, WEDH, WTIC, WTXX, WCTX, and WETG) Markets stayed to the 6/12/09 date (Except WGBX, who went off April 23rd (or April 16th), and WFXT, which went off Early on February 27th due to the same reason WSBE went off the air early, some Lower profile CT Stations also went off early) New Hampshire Was down to only WMUR after 2/17 (They continued to June 12th) Maine Public Went Even Earlier than that, during January (1/11/09). WPXT and WPME went during 2008. WGME, WVII, and WPFT went on February 17th, while WCSH/WLBZ, WMTW, WABI, and WAGM Went off on June 12th

Back then (2009), there was a 10 minute limit for most uploads. Then afterward, if producers were in 'good standing' we were 'approved' for 15 minute uploads, then the restriction were lifted altogether.
@@NorthRiverTV appears they brought it back and you need a phone number tied to your channel (I think Google account should do the trick) for uploads over 15 minutes
Farewell analogue television !
Thank you for upload ! 5*
