Congrats on the new car. I have the same one but in wolf gray with red interior. However I’m really digging the Glacier white with the red interior. I guess I’m so tired of seeing the wolf gray now. Have you been using the self drive mode? I’m addicted to using that feature. I went from Brooklyn NY to Miami FL for thanksgiving, and OMG the self drive came in handy. I would say the car did 70% of the driving. It’s scary at first because it’s taking corners, breaking and accelerating all on its own. However after the first 100 miles I was more at ease. Warning! Be very careful what you use to clean your seats. Don’t use anything with a high gloss because it can potentially put dark spots in your leather. I was HEATED! I used this high gloss leather cleaner/protector, and it left these dark spots on my passenger side seat. I did go back to Kia and they did a repair. Don’t ask me what they did. All I know is that I didn’t pay for it. I now use just armor all cleaning wipes and they work really well. If you have any questions about your please don’t hesitate to ask. I’ve had my car for the same amount of time as you. However I am well over 14,000 miles. I think I live in my car more than my house. Sad but true. Lol Also I do have extra speaker covers if interested I can send them your way. Like a fool I went crazy buying stuff for my car and I got click happy and ordered the speaker covers twice. I will link them
below so you can see what it is I’m speaking about. They are really easy to put on. Just peel the 3m tape off and stick them on. It does make the door look so much better… in my opinion. Good luck with you car. I can’t stress my love for my car enough. It’s great on gas, fun to drive and it looks just as good, if not better than the luxury cars out there. God bless and be safe!

The apply CarPlay acts up when u plug in wire that isn’t Apple charger but if you plug in the actual Apple it will work the wireless doesn’t come with the model you have it goes for the basic models idk why anything above the gt line will get plug in Apple carplay
you probably know this by now, but the carplay is only via wire with the larger display.

I'm actually in the process of getting a white 2021 Kia K5 GT-Line AWD. I knew they had the old Kia logo, but I wasn't aware that the 2022's had higher advanced tech. It's making me 2nd guess my choice with me having to have the best of everything. 🤔😆
The bigger screens only come with wired carplay. Once you connect your phone through usb it will connect to car play 9:00
My car has Both the feature for wireless carplay and carplay with the wire. The wireless option is just complicated when setting up.

Yess it was hard finding mine too especially since I got it in 2021 only a few of the 2022 cars was out at the time. Dealers told me I wouldn’t find it but I was still able to. Even though Wolf grey and red interior is most easily findable, they’re out there girl!
The K5 GT does not have the red interior as an option. If you want the red interior, you have to go with the GT-Line model.
The GT1 and GT2 packages are a higher trim than the GT-Line and they only offer black or the chesnut brown interior unfortunately. I was hoping to get a GT with red interior as well, but you wont find it because they don't offer the red interior on the GT.
The 2023 K5 GT does offer auto-folding mirrors. I'm not sure about the 2022 models.
