I think Kim will flee with the vacuum guy because she might take the fall for Howard’s murder so she needs to flee the cops.
About Gene, I think he will get in jail, either by turning himself in or someone else (possibly Kim) calling the cops on him. Then he might get shanked to death in jail. It would be poetic because he suggested shanking Badger in his first appearance but Badger ended up unscathed while Gene get shanked himself.

Also one of the reasons that lead to Howard's death was Mike, he ordered his men not to watch low-profile people (Saul and Kim) anymore because they were 100% sure that Salamanca will fall into trap but nope, he's too smart to die like that.
Also when Lalo saw the cockroach he immediately thought of Saul because he actually said to Kim that Saul was a cockroach, a survivor.

He knew that his lie being overheard would cause Gus' men to go into a panic preparing for what they thought would be a last stand against Lalo. All of the men were moved to Gus's house or the lab. What an incredible episode of TV. On rewatch there was so much subtle foreshadowing of Howard's fate. The way Lalo got Mike to take his people away from Saul's house (low level targets, Mike was having them followed), and the fact that Kim never told Saul Lalo was still alive, probably not wanting to worry him and probably wanting to avoid that reality, the way that all converged to having them and their actions get Howard killed. One of those beautiful tragic moments like in Breaking Bad which sometimes takes seasons to all come together and then explode. Love it.

This episode man.. Literally just finished it, and it was phenomenal! Was so much fun watching the plan go down, i couldnt take my eyes off the screen. But then that ending.. Im in shock, almost wish i didnt even see it. The amount of emotions i went through in this episode alone surpasses a vast majority of what entire shows can do for me. 11/10 mid-season finale, and im on the edge of my seat, anxiously waiting for more.

Howard's death is more heart breaking than the death of hank, walter, nacho, basically any deaths on the show.

Agree. Dude takes L's, says he'll make a comeback and then gets off'd for no reason within his control

Lalo thought of Saul after he saw the cockroache in the tunnel. Small but amazing detail.

This episode makes it more likely Kim lives through BB timeline. Can’t kill everyone.

You guys are the best. My reaction was a combination of you both - mouth open, WTF, chills and it made me a little numb.

I absolutely love the way this show makes you feel uncomfortable. Makes you feel bad for a guy before they kill him off.

What is crazy is that they are going to rule Howard’s death as a suicide as to say “he was going through all these things in his life so he thought to end himself” not to mention his wife could care less about him. Namaste Howard 😢😢

Howard just jinxed himself, it's like what he described with that can was the foreshadowed of his fate, just like what they did with the pink teddy bear in Breaking Bad

I like to watch reaction videos after watching an episode and the fact is that I’ve watched that episode twice now and now this reaction video. The fact that my heart was still pounding after Howard’s Sandpiper incident proves this show is a masterpiece. And I still had a hole in my stomach after his death. This show is absolutely amazing. I’m now starting to watch part B of this season. Absolutely fantastic

Lalo still doesn't know about Jimmy's connection to Mike. Maybe visiting Jimmy is Lalo's mistake which eventually gets him killed.

He has got to suspect that Jimmy is tied to Gus and Mike though since he knows Nacho was the one who betrayed him to Gus and Nacho was also the one who introduced Lalo to Jimmy.

@@MLennholm fair point! I hadn't thought about that.

Also, the way Howard hits his head on the floor reminds me on how Chuck hits his head on the counter at the printing shop.
