I believe he was thinking of "linear compensator". Linear's "throw it forward". Compensators in general have multiple ports or slots that diffuse the gasses from 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock to aid in recoil management. A muzzle brake takes all that gas and blows it out at 3 and 9 through large ports, typically 2 to 3, to aggressively fight muzzle rise in heavier recoiling calibers, though plenty are in use on light rounds. Ranking from pleasant to obnoxious --> Linear comp, traditional comp, brake
I'm curious about the Uintah Precision bolt-action uppers personally. Especially because they offer them for both the AR-15 and AR-10 platform lowers in a multitude of calibers. There don't seem to be many videos of the bolt-action uppers.
Muzzle device is based off an old old design, often called a "pepper pot" blast deflector. Was used on artillery, cannon, tanks, and other pieces at least as far back as WW I.
People complain how a cheap rifle isn’t gonna hit sub MOA numbers when half the people watching this can’t shoot sub MOA numbers so it’s like the same thing as buying the best Gibson guitar you can while you’re trying to learn it’s completely and utterly pointless and a novelty item at that
Ain't no denying its a nice rifle.. me, if had that amount to spend, I'd have a piston driven 5.56 and a .300blk upper to swap. Of course with at least a muffler for the .300, and optics & lights, and still not be resorting to super inexpensive. Different strokes for different folks tho :)
I haven't even watched your video But I want everyone to know......Buy a defensive weapon..in this case a rifle. Be frugal. In combat your weapon Will eventually break down or be worn out. When it's time to get another. Then do so. If you collect fancy firearms. Then spend as much as you'd like to. The weapons you speak of on your site are combat weapons. Combat is unpredictable. Be prepared for all of your equipment to fail even the most expensive "bombproof" tools.
It's nice but I'm at the point with my collection I don't need more $2k+ rifles. I'd rather put together a weapon piece by piece to build exactly what I want. It may come up to or over $2k but if you modify anything on a $3500 gun you're wasting money and just end up with more spare parts in a box. Spend that extra $1500 on more ammo or a better optic.
When he took that 'jail break' or whatever off, the gun just looks and sounds the same as my Del Ton Echo 316. I picked that up for $639 including shipping. (Yes, Beto. I bought it ONLINE). The ammo is the same and it handles just like it. At the range, I felt equally as comfortable firing my single shot Heritage Rough Rider as I did the Del Ton. All these inflated prices on guns due to demand? It makes me question whether or not these so-called "Gun grabbing politicians" secretly have no intention of doing that, but bought a ton of stock in gun and ammo manufacturers before starting all this up - just to see how their stock increase from all the panic buying. (Like the toilet paper lunacy of 2019)
I would agree with you. Sure their nice but it’s still just an AR-15. And you can spen a $1000 on a nice AR -15 and another $1000 in optics and TACTICOOL items to make a great working rifle. That being said my Reece rifle is a LWRC piston driven rifle. It was 2400 and once set up the way I like it with optic and other is it 3200 when it’s done mags sling optics and all. Also watch the slow motion and you will see the break is more effective and efficient without that rail extension on it. But I have PSA rifles completely built optics and all for 1200 to 1500 that run as well as much more expensive setups.
Colion I just wanna thank you for always introducing high end value rifles and firearms period. Trust me as person who enjoy firearms it gets very frustrating seeing so many bloggers using Palmetto state armory rifles and trying to glorify them as gold. Don’t get me wrong something is better than nothing. But don’t piss in my cup and try to convince that its beer. So again I appreciate you when you bring these type of guns to the lime light. Everyone is different and I respect that, but I am a guy who would drop 4K on one awesome riffle versus having six riffles of bullshit that you have to immediately operate on them/ change things on them out the box to get them to a certain quality. If you add all the upgrades people spend/ do its the same price as just buying a quality riffle from the start. 😎just keeping it💯
Are your keyboard keys sticking? Or do you have a penchant for repeating letters, like in your name? Because for someone who’s willing to drop 4K, and knows the difference between beer and piss, you haven’t learned to spell RIFLE correctly.
Can’t go wrong with a S&W MP -15. Quarter the price and sometimes they go on sale for a little less. You pay for the name and brag that spent what essentially could get you a car on Craigslist.
@Contingency IBCT Lmao people like you kill me. Let’s be real a $500 sport2 is sufficient for what most people want it for. Hey really quick check out the CMMG conversion kit for 22LR. I run it on my rifle and its like having two guns on one platform. Make sure if your interested to buy the anti jam charging handle. Since I got it all together it runs almost flawlessly.
I hate having weight out at the end of the barrel like that. The full length handguards look cool but I’d rather save the weight.
It being that much money and it not being ambi kinda kills it for me, the warcomp is a negative to me as well because it negatively impacts the performance of the suppressor too.
Great vid ... love Salient Arms, they make a fantastic Armalite Rifle Style.
I have a hard time justifying that much for a rifle. Idc if it comes with a handy … but it is beautiful!
I love when you share your pick of the litter.
Hey C, get your hands on any LaRue Tactical (Leander, TX) gas gun in 5.56, 6.5G, 7.62, 6.5C or .260 - you just might be amazed... Or buy a complete upper and a stripped lower, build it yourself and be even more amazed.
Nice piece. To each his own.
Nathan, dont respond to this asshole telling you, you've won something. He's a scammer and a pos and he is going to be charged with numerous felonys everytime he trues this tactic.
I’ve always thought they look cool but I feel you don’t get enough for the price. It should definitely should have an Ambi lower. Honestly for the price and money I feel ADM is king right now if your going to buy a complete rifle.
Exquisite Taste... Great description in detail.
👆Congratulations you have been selected among our shortlisted giveaway winners.....✅✅✅✅
I have had this rifle since 2016. Super cool to look at. Does it shoot better than my other AR15? nope. The jail break is cool. Mine has the lower being made in Oxnard California not Las Vegas. Salient will not be making any more of these from what I heard and the source I heard it from is very reliable.
What do you think of radians model 1 rifle?
Man got that Jailbreak M4 on Customs
🔝🔝Thanks for watching and commenting ♥️ you have been randomly selected among winner for today hit me up via the digits above to claim prize....
Does it come with a hired 24/7 security team to use it? If not HELL NO! 😂
I love the part the homie throw that mag like it ain’t nothing on the ground while getting another one to load up lol 😂
You have a collection?! Congratulations!! Way to go! I get asked all the time ido you need more than one? My answer, because I can...
my favorite rifle and the one that i chose to buy was the LWRC IC A5 in flatdark earth color. Its the best, most reliable and most visually appealing rifle that i have ever seen.
Guys, I’m new to ARs and am getting analysis paralysis deciding which (AR Pistol) to get. Anyone have recommendations?
I’m looking for “bang for your buck” factor, under or at $1K range.
You have lots of options. Are you looking to build one (assemble an upper and lower receiver) or buy a complete rifle?
@@TaniksCaesar either option would work for me, I wouldn’t mind putting one together. Really just looking for good quality:price ratio
@@landenx Aero Precision if you are looking for the best bang for your buck, BCM (Bravo Company Manufacturing) for something a little higher end but still overall affordable. The more you explore, the more options you will find (the list of those producing AR’s and parts is quite extensive)
@@TaniksCaesar thank you for the recommendations!
IWI Zion pistol. 12.5 inch barrel, mid-length gas system, and fit and finish is great. Around $800. Best sub 1k IMHO.
Great video Colion! You nailed it again

Its not a matter of if they can take our guns its a matter of when
10:14 a good insight for everything, not just guns. It's less about "is X object worth Y dollars" so much as "is X object worth Y dollars to ME." What you're looking to get out of a product radically changes what you should be willing to pay for it.
from the product page this weapon is more geared to be a range toy than anything, kinda like an mp5
West desert shooter does a good video
Muzzle device is based off an old old design, often called a "pepper pot" blast deflector. Was used on artillery, cannon, tanks, and other pieces at least as far back as WW I.
You’re not an idiot, you just got some 💰 to spent. I appreciate high end AR, but for that price. I would buy an HK MR556 instead.
Colion: *addresses reasons not to buy the rifle and even says "don't buy this rifle"
Commenters:REEEEE I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS
Beautiful tool.
CZ Bren cones to mind. 💪💪🔥🔥
What was the accuracy on this rifle at 100 yards and 600 yards?
It’s in the price range of a FN SCAR. I’m a FN fanboy lol so I’d definitely pick the FN SCAR 17s over this rifle everyday of the week.
This is me with my MR762A1 obsession... I just don't give a f*uck what anyone thinks about the MSRP lol.
Congrats you have been selected among our shortlisted winners, contact the u above.......✅👍
Absolutely worth it. Lrp kit fucks hard. I wanna get another to put a 12 inch barrel on for S&G purposes.
Imo get a radian builders kit and build a rifle to suit your needs for about the same with a decent optic.
Congrats you have been selected among our shortlisted winners, contact the u above...........✅👍
Love this video. Keep up the great work.
(Like the toilet paper lunacy of 2019)
As a beginner into guns I want this but when I’m ready to appreciate what it is
I would agree with you.
Honestly my favorite gun right now is my $500 keltec sub 2000.
$3500 for a rifle is insanity at it's finest, but to be honest this is coming from a guy who thinks anything more than $1200 is pushing it.
Yeah I love the color.... great video. Had never heard of that rifle before.
Love it brother, there are those just unique to what you want compared to what ur looking for
It's worth it if you are a rich lawyer like Colion LOL
Cool gun, cool review.
Can’t go wrong with a S&W MP -15. Quarter the price and sometimes they go on sale for a little less. You pay for the name and brag that spent what essentially could get you a car on Craigslist.
@Contingency IBCT Did you forgot your soy latte this morning snowflake???
You looked at vehicle prices lately ?, $3,500 is the new $500.
@Contingency IBCT Lmao people like you kill me. Let’s be real a $500 sport2 is sufficient for what most people want it for. Of course it’s not a $5000 Daniel defense or Gucci gun but it gets the job done. Watch iv8888s testing on them. They’re far from garbage, you’re just a materialistic brand snob
@@IrnMaiden304 agreed.
I saw a 2012 Honda Accord with 125K miles selling for 10K at a dealership
It's so ridiculous
My M&P sport 2 with an optic and all my upgrades has become a 2500 dollar rifle over the yrs. 😆
Wow. Nice video. Coolest gun ever. I’ve been waiting for 3 years to find one for sale.
I've got an $800 heap of shit torqued to spec, zero'd, and runs like a scalded dog.
I can see paying for quality machine work, and maybe even proprietary quality of life improvements.
But at the end of the day, my bargain bin garbage can still put lead on center mass, and that's the only competition I'm looking to win when SHTF.
Congrats you have been selected among our shortlisted winners, contact the u above.......✅👍
@@callsignjoker2686 that’s not always the case. ARs are finicky to accurize. Just paying a lot of money doesn’t guarantee even MOA accuracy.
@@callsignjoker2686 LOL
