the example of Kellogs and the farmer who produces corn ; you have mentioned is called forwards contract, which is signed between 2 parties not regulated by the exchages in other words a Private contractual agreement ....futures contract all are the same but the underlying asset here can be a stock , commodity or any instruments which is regulated by the exchanges #krinu

@vijay mohan, I am trying to learn option trading, am going to take a calculated risk which i can afford., I am not greedy to go fast. I know so many people lost money in options. I would like to learn this trading proper way. So if you post a detailed video in tamil, that video will be a good starter for me to learn.
Sir please we need options full details, don’t skip if likes is less, also we need real-time hedging, like if we think as bull and purchased all in for all the stocks then what options we buy to hedge our portfolio of market goes reverse as down

Explained excellently. I have a doubt. When a private limited company has shares with face value of 10 and 1 lac shares its capital is 10 lacs. When it comes to public and gives offer for sale then how share price is valued for ipo. Pls explain sir.

Thanks for explaining in simple words. Please explain how to use options to use it as a insurance. For example if I have 50K in VGT or QQQ then how can I use options to save my investment during market crash and it will be useful for people who are planning or approaching retirement.
You can buy puts as insurance. If the market goes down you will make profit
Thanks for doing a video on this topic. This is a difficult concept to grasp for most of us. I believe it will be helpful if you use a real market example to walk through this concept again on top of the corn trade example you already have. I felt the comparison between futures and options in the last part of the video was a bit rushed.

Actually this is a real market example. Just that it is on corn rather than on a stock. Better to understand the concept using corn as an example. A stock example would confuse the novice. That comes as next level topic. And Thanks for the support. 🙏🏽
