I loved when I used thaf app I’ve been thinking of doing the KO nano this time around but still not sure what rout I don’t need crazy power my last setup 12k was perfect
Hi I am running the same bac 800 and the ko race spec motor. I set my max power setting to 20 kw and your right the front end won't stay on the ground. I am running a 60 tooth rear sprocket, before I turn down the power I am going to swap the sprocket to 42 tooth. I am estimating that will reduce the max tourqe by about 30%. Obviously increase the top speed by about the same percentage. I am looking to achieve max top speed and max usable torque. Have you experimented with gearing with this motor and controller combo?
Is the Kilowatt app necessary if you have a GLE tune/app? They say you can do a motor tune within the app but there's no specific options like the choosing the motor model selection that's in the Kilowatt app
@@zacharyjacques5551 After tuning the motor with Kilowatt, GLE/EMB, including the EggRider, still function the same. Just be aware that the regen thumb throttle only works with EggRider but not the GLE/EMB app without fixing a setting. It’s probably an easy fix (a common setting in the Kilowatt or the GLE app. Kilowatt also makes a backup before the motor tune (so you can restore your GLE/EMB settings) You can also simply screenshot your GLE/EMB brake and other settings before using the Kilowatt motor tune and check the GLE app for any regen/brake settings that might’ve been altered after the motor tune to pinpoint it easily. After doing a motor tune, Kilowatt also adjusts a throttle setting in the 'drivetrain' category. Go to 'custom current regulator tuning,' change 'current regulator bandwidth' from 4000 (or whatever it is) to 0. You can experiment with this setting, though it’s better on 0 for most people and it’s safer.
Already had a BAC8000 and prefer the smoothness of it. The Motoclops tune I run was amazing and I bought the motor for cooling as my riding was overheating the stock motor. I may chose to try the EBMX soon as j hear the throttle control is great!
Do you know the difference between the “race spec” and “factory spec” KO motors? I can’t seem to find and differences besides the $200
pretty sure the factory spec is faster
Higher kv for more motor rpm.

What size rear wheel/tire is that? stock swingarm? I am trying to get a bigger tire for my rear as well. TIA

Drop to stock gearing, the torque will feel almost the same and you will gain a ton of top end.
When I click on the ko race spec my wheel goes backwards and judders it’s doesn’t just go around why is this happening
Any way to contact you I have some questions about my setup

Why use bac 4000 or 8000 and not the KO controller?
