Hey absolutely love the list and I’ve just switched from rsf to rbr pro 2 because I’ve been watching you and I absolutely love it, however I use a logitech g920 and can’t seem to get the H pattern to work at the same time as the seq paddles. I had the H pattern plug-in on rsf and I every time I try to drop it into the game files of rbr pro it doesn’t show up in the in-game plug-ins, any chance you know how to get around this issue, thanks!
I know there is a way but I'm not familiar with it either. It is annoying for sure... thank you for the support and I'm glad to hear from a fellow rally enthusiast!!! What are your thoughts on the upcoming wrc 23 game? Anything you are hoping for? Or are you going to skip it?
The weird buildings in the Rally Železniki stage are called Hayrack(s) (worth taking a peek at the Wiki/google photos page) or in Slovene "kozolec" and are predominantly found only in Slovenia and closest parts of Italy and Austria. Depending on the shape, but the single one (concrete posts with wooden planks between and a roof) are usually free standing in the field next to the road, and the "double" ones, basically include a barn for the farm equipment and storage space for already dried up grass (hay). Also a really nice and demanding tarmac rally stage for RBR is Sorica or maybe Soriška planina, and it is also located in Slovenia :D
Hello. I'm not sure if you're having wheel rotation problems (it seems like you're putting a lot of steering lock on compared to real life) but you can change the degrees of rotation in the Fanatec Tuning Menu, Logitech G-Hub or Thrustmaster Control Panel, depending on what brand of wheel you have.
It's the one that comes Standard in rbrpro. Not sure the name. The list would be so big if I included all my favorite stages. There are like 50 new stages in the past few weeks in rbr pro
Nice, but my wheel doesn't get recognized in RBR. I've probably too many USB-devices and it's confusing old games. I got it working on my old Windows for whatever reason, but the stages I've tried felt too flat from the physics, so lack of motion-effects. I play mostly rF2 with some BeamNG and AMS2 occasionally. I actually liked the WRC1 and 2 in WRCG quite a bit, but can't get motion to work with it.
have you tried setting you wheel rotation to 90 degrees and spinning it back and forth suoer quick? you also have to unmap EVERYTHING first before you try to map your own gear.
@seanmack4552 you have to do so in the control mapping area, there is some mod that allows you to use both but without that, you have to unmap your sequential if you want to use H and vice-versa.
Hello, I'm sorry to bother you, but I have a couple of rallies going on right now, simseries and Tierras altas de Lorca de Simcontrol and if I don't solve them I won't be able to run them. Let's see if you can help me out. I just got an Alpha mini and thought that apart from tuning it, it was plug and play. The thing is that in AC yes, it's not fine but the FFB works. But in RBR there is no way. The steering wheel goes to FFB. I already tried everything. Checkbox activated in the Launcher, in the game, I associated the game to the base in the Simagic promanager (or whatever it is called). I am sooo lost and have no other options than to turn to you and someone else waiting for feedback since I can't find any info anywhere. If you want you can contact me privately. Many thanks in advance. Raph.
Do you have video you can point me to to simulate your graphical / physics experience. I played RBR way back when but I hear the modding just takes it to the next level. Graphics look a lot better here and can tell you're having a blast. Would greatly appreciate it, thanks!
There are a few all in one packages, my favorite is RBRPRO due to the ease of updates and they are always improving the pacenotes and adding features. Rsf is a great option as well.
@@DouglasThompson sorry i'm new i wanna give a try, recently a reshading patch got created , is the reshading patch included in those packages or does it need to be istalled in a particular folder ? i mean, if modding is needed, is modding RBR a pain in the a*s ?
@Dropa-mine if you are using rbr pro, it's built in but if you are using rsf you will need to install it, when you use reshade I believe it will let you choose which game you want to use it on. I can't remember the exact location but I believe it will walk you through. Also I have an updated video with newer stages if you are interested.
Rbrpro has more polish. It's a more powerful launcher and it's updated more frequently and the pacenote mod is much more powerful as well. Also you don't need reshape as it's built in already. Easy to switch codrivers...etc There are so many reasons I prefer rbrpro. Not saying rsf isn't good because it is but I like me some rbrpro. ;)
Rbr is a collection of band aids unfortunately. It has the best driving experience but the user interface and the entire code of the game is from like 17 years ago. I understand your frustrations but to me it's totally worth it for the main driving experience. To answer your question directly, the only time I get a hard crash is if I exit the rbr main window and try to open certain apps. It doesn't hard crash any other time for me. My biggest frustration is having to remap the controls frequently because I use a sequential sometimes and an H-pattern other times.
@@DouglasThompson I re-installed the game and it's working fine now. Used some of your videos to find some really nice looking fun maps. I also like the ones that change from tarmac to dirt, thanks. Under UTLS controls can't you tell it to auto detect which shifter you're using? As I only own an H-Pattern I don't know how well it works. It's separate from the main RBR controls. Maybe you could try mapping one shifter to default RBR controls and the other to the plugin if auto-detect doesn't work? EDIT: oh actually that probably wont work as the plugin requires the clutch. you could always make a backup of the INI file. Make one for h-shifter and one for sequential and if you know which one you're going to use before booting the game just rename the file to default(RBRControls.ini) and rename the other to whichever you're not using (squential.ini, hshifter.ini), if that makes sense. Create a shortcut to the directory on your desktop. I believe it's in Richard Burns Rally\Plugins\RBRControls . If you find this works you could look up how to make a batch file to do the renaming for you and just double click on the batch file if you're as lazy as me lol Saw a couple more of your YT videos, it's crazy to me what gets a hundreds of thousands of views and what doesn't because your videos are very unique and well done. Saw that video where you used a saw blade as a steering wheel and it made my adrenaline pump, you're nuts lol.
You can double left click the mouse (might have to do extra to get it to show up) and then click on dash and set your position up for maybe like 200x 200y and you should be able to see it. I think the mini dash is the standard one. If it doesn't show up either keep scrolling up and down the numbers a bit or make sure it's enabled in the launcher screen settings.
Depends on your car setup between the two because I believe they both use the same NGP but Pro uses different car setups for certain popular vehicles from what I know.

great vid, how bout best cars in rbr
I'd say that would be a very hard topic. The criteria for best would have to be based on quality of engine sounds, I guess.
