Broly has a lot of shortcomings when it compared to the current top tiers, but I think he's a very fun and unique character amongst the cast and more of the design type I want to see coming out of future DLC characters.

I love using Broly in DBFZ, not only both him and Piccolo are my top 2 all time favorite DB characters, but they can be a great team as Broly can help Piccolo with his Hellzone Grenade setups. Speaking of Piccolo, I would love for you put to another video like this for him.
If you want flashy Broly combos look up Verdane. He makes Broly look like a whole new character

I love Broly, the armor and the combo grab into a lvl 3 super makes for a huge amount of damage, thanks for the idea of the team lockdown, I shall try it against those annoying Bardock players :P I used to play Team beam assists but I got bored of black and Goku.

I've been maining him since day 1 release. He'll always be my point character no matter what... on my main team.
At first I hated Broly I was like " hate buff Sangief like characters" but then I realized Broly is soooo goood! love the crude sheer power of his moves, the armor and that super lvl 3 that can be used after a grab or a push in the corner, Im maining him next to Nappa (Bald Saiyan ftw) and Vegita ssj or Black.

I swear I fought this guy earlier today on fighterz. I recognize one the combos he pulled off in this video which was very unique.
Man how times have changed. The boss character was just dormant until Arcsysm awakened him.
Broly's in my main team, he's pretty scary with beam assists or Vegeta, but not too worth unless you run him with a Beam Assist and something else like Cell, 16, or Kid Buu imo.
Maybe he'll get buffed with the patch. I can always hope.

I play Broly mainly, currently on Majin on PC, and Tien and Goku/Black are Broly's best friends by far. Tien can extend Brolys combos like no other character can do, while Goku or any straight beam character can dish out an amazing corner combo that includes a Dragon Rush and delayed Lvl 3 (Tien can also do this, but without the Dragon Rush)
Few things:
1. Broly has an energy barrier. It's slow to get started and goes away on block no matter what, but against certain matchups it can be very good, as you can punish people for spamming ki attacks (example, most of frieza's attacks are registered as 'projectiles' so broly can just walk through them)
2. Broly can combo after his level three in the corner, and in general loves putting people in the corner. (although his block strings/pressure aren't as strong as Cell imo)
3. Broly can hold his standing heavy. Great for mixups.
4. Broly's standing H, 2H, 2 M, air heavy, qcf ki blast, his command throws and i think his standing M all have one tick of armor, meaning he'll go through exactly one attack (that's not a level 1/3) before being stuffed out. Against small fast characters this can suck because they can button mash through his armor. But qcf M has endless armor, meaning he'll go through any attack that's not a super as long has he's got the health (really good against button mashers). When you armor through moves, Broly still takes the damage for it. It's usually a trade in his favor, but beware when you're at low health.
5. In general, broly has the mix up of If block -> command throw or stagger attacks, if opponent is hitting to many buttons --> Armor. It's pretty straightforward and people will catch on quick so it's important to switch up moves frequently.
6. My team is 16, Broly, and yamcha. I like Broly with meter and he works well with yamcha assist in the corner. his assist can be used to extend combos but the timing is strict because broly stands there like an idiot before throwing his ki blast

I love how Broly can just pick up fighters, throw them down and maul them. But his special move is slow moving. I really like playing as him especially after seeing the new movie!
I think that you should do one of these on Bardock. The team I'm running right now is:
Vegito Blue on point
Bardock on mid
and SSJ Goku as my anchor
Personally I find the beam assist and Bardock's quick punch that can stun the opponent if it hits on the ground to work very well with Vegito. Beam assist, cross up, ki blast, cross up, Bardock assist, spirt sword, overhead... It can get pretty nuts. Throw in a few heavy attacks in the cross ups... it's deadly... LOL! I really think your explanations have been great. They've helped me be a better SSJ Goku/Vegito Blue player. I would love to see one for Bardock.
P.S. I didn't know Krillin was so good. LOL.
It really is funny when you think about it. How Arc messed up Broly. Maybe it was the fear of having him overpowered.. i don't know. But at the same time, Baddack came along and he's top tier no question..

As a Broly main. yes, a MAIN. Broly's armor is REALLY not that good, in some situations yes, but for the most part it's ridiculously iffy. if you're fighting a bardock, vegeta or gotenks your armor is null and void due it breaking after two hits. you get one tight frame of armor, and that's it.

my team since broly was released is broly , goku black and piccolo , piccolo is my best character so he is always the last , or sometimes when i want to finish the fight faster i use piccolo , i love his crossups , but i get half of the fight done with broly , he stays in the field as long as he can to deal damage and to get them mad , when they get mad it gets more predictable and more easy to punish them and do some combos
I actually have a team "We hate Goku" but it consists of Merged Zamasu, Frieza, and Broly, though originally it was Goku Black, Frieza, and Broly, I feel Zamasu helps out more with his massive range game & blade attacks

I run broly since day 1 release and put him on point with 21 and cell, after the buff and nerfing, i went to all the chars again putting him as 2nd with zamasu at 3rd and 18 on point, soo yes, i will put him anywhere even if it kills me

2 things one I legit ate all 3 lev. 1 supers with one toward charge move with broly...felt so good 2nd my team using broly is him hit and 3rd one changes (freiza, 21, beerus)
Mained bardock, hit, broly. Got too many death threats so I had to switch to buu, vegito, yamcha.
None of the dlc character thus far have had me truly hype. I would be if they added 17 or Majuub. But then people would complain about Majuub being in the game and not Kefla or whatever.
Another pro of Broly: he puts people who mash in a body bag. He’s also really good for people who mash so they can tank it and get their combo
Goku black ssgss vageta and broly are my time and I destroyed everything with them I love broly. You left out that some of his attacks break through people's block and that's amazing when you're fighting those heavily defensive players that wanna do nothing but counter strike you and hit you with a endless combo you can keep the pressure on them with broly.

I personally never liked pointing with Broly. Unless I'm in the zone when it comes to Defense, I feel that if I keep him out for too long, he dies way to quick in my hands, since his HEUG body allows opponents to keep pressure up seemingly forever and it's always a matter of time before I crack. So generally my Broly goes in, does some quick big damage, hopefully get the K.O., and he's outta there while I use someone I feel can control the space better.
I find Broly to be a very new-player friendly character, since he doesn't need the big combos to be effective, and his armor properties makes what would otherwise be awful mistakes work to his advantage. If you're new to fighting games, you might actually get more mileage out of Broly than you would the current top-tier characters, but you might develop some bad habits detrimental to playing with any other character, and against opponents who know what they're doing, Broly ends up just becoming a big, massive hurt-box if your D isn't perfect.
I use trunks ssj vegeta and broly. Do you think that’s a decent team ?
I play Broly butcher I haven't taken him to the time chamber yet I just picked him and started playing.(I'm still a green square online)
I think that Broly’s command grab is extremely difficult to deal with for new players, like you said, but he’s nothing to write home about beyond that.
Which is a shame, being large and imposing should feel amazing, but Broly just feels hollow and weak.

As a dbz broly main a can tell that he got high damaging combos and jesus christ he can really easily combo and do alot of damage. I am only ssj2 CURRENTLY and he is very viable rekting mui kids. He kinda feels similar to dbs broly. You dont really need assists to do combos, he is good without them. Broly claps zoners who spam beams and ki blasts with chooh chooh train and can literally combo off express train with sparking or lvl 1/3 after this

broly is actually my bes character even tho i play goku black and cell aswell, i whip a lot of ass with him and he helped me to almost a ssj3 rank
i want this movie to portray broly's past as sad one and being manipulated by others .
Portray broly as a villian but due to circumtances not by choice just like mael/estarossa like nanatsu no taizai .
He should probably kill frieza in this movie so that he can be revived with cell to come back as pure evil not anti hero like that was portrayed in tornament of power
