Hi Both Good review thinking of getting the 675b as like the rear bathroom and a garage .Will discuss the lack of sockets with the dealer thanks for pointing it out
Fascinating stuff Bob and Jenny. We can definitely see a theme of the type of vans you’re looking at. We looked round those AutoTrails today. Just the washrooms really which would now be a step down for us
I liked the final van you looked at -Swift? The driver and passenger chair looked bigger and more comfortable. I thought the wash room was great. The sleeping area looked good too. Thank you both👏⭐️❤️
Well done Bob and Jenny another great review I am pleased to see the very high standard of design and quality of the new vans a good range of models to meet all prices and needs I agree it’s lovely having different colour base materials it’s a great idea!
Fantastic Bob & Jenny, so wanted a good look at the new Autotrail Excel range, especially the rear lounge version, & bang! there you are looking at them! It does look nice, though always have an issue with wet rooms at that price range, but I guess it's all bout being compact. Anyway, I digress. A big thank you for all your informative videos, wherever you go. Look forward to seeing more. Kindest Matt :)
Went to the show today and bought some doggy treats from Aileen's stand. I also had to visit MG caravans as that's where I got my van from. Got to say it's much easier watching your video's than traipsing around myself. Also cheaper as I ended up buying a Lock 'n' Level for my caravan amongst other things.
Nice to see more uk manufacturers making the slimmer Motorhomes and at some point in the future give ELDDIS some competition with 6 metre vans. The Ford cab dashboard certainly looks more contemporary than the face lifted fiat so can see why manufacturers are switching
It seems that Auto-trail have managed to produce a German layout motorhome too in the 690T but the washroom leaves a lot to be desired particularly as Auto-trail are renowned for great washrooms, this one with the dreaded shower curtain is awful! Not much headroom at the back either as you found out to your cost Bob. The 675 has the far superior washroom with a separate shower is brilliant. I'm with you though, I don't fancy cushion shovelling either, a drop-down bed over would be far superior but obviously this would cost more. The one thing I do like is the grey fleck upholstery I think that looks really modern and contemporary! The Swift Ascari is nice and I think is more appealing than the Auto-trail. I so wanted to attend the show this year as we are thinking of changing our motorhome but I just couldn't face all those crowds and jostling for a glimpse. Thank you for the upload.
A big move to Ford based motorhomes from Peugeot / Fiat. I guess that for campers the Peugeot /Fiat width is preferred. Whilst Ford vans are more “carlike” they have not seemed to be so rust resistant as the heavily galvanised Peugeot/ Fiat units. Let us hope that this has changed.
Enjoyed, just going to see part 3 now.
Hi Bob and Jenny, really enjoyed the look around the Autotrails, great reviews, thank you for sharing and all your hard work, Julie and Tony x
Thanks both for sharing , plus you save me travel and ticket costs every year with excellent presentation skills !😉
Happy to help!

I did like the Excell auto trail, even though you have to make the bed up, plus the travel seat is wasted i think because it only sleeps two.,

The Swift Ascari, yes Jenny liked that too.

Great video Bob & good to see you not including your usual volume of adverts.
I don't choose how many adverts you get. Depends on what the advertisers choose. Less adverts means less money for the channel.
all of the best builder manufacturer of motorhomes were in your country❤❤❤ very nice motorhome
Thank you

Yes, wet rooms seem to be the biggest compromise.

So far I've only managed to buy some toilet fluid and a bag!

Yes, I liked a lot of the newer upholstery this season, but not keen on shower curtains either.

Yes, let's hope they last
Shelving above the driver with no appreciable lip - sounds like fun 😂 To be frank, the first Autotrail 690is rather underwhelming
Yes, open shelves should be banned!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It takes on average 7 head bangs before your behaviour changes to suit a new environment. I know, I have a baldy head !
😆ouch, you think you won't do that again, but you do..
Is it me having a senior moment or is this a duplicate of your previous video?
No it isn’t a duplicate, the previous video featured Bailey’s new Compact motorhomes.
