Your comment about the windscreen being far away, reminded me of a photograph of our collie lying on the dashboard, when we were staying at clent hills.
Just a small hint, get some cat litter and fill a small sock with it, tie off then pop the filled sock into the spare one and then if you put it on your dash it will keep the condensation away, no more steamed up windows as the litter soaks up all the damp ,
Super video as always. What a frost. We don’t see anything like that in Devon until January as a rule. Nor do we see sides of meat being delivered as we spotted in one of the towns. Lovely to see! Xx
Oooh what a lovely frosty morning, reminds you of Christmas, but I suppose it’s frosty like that most days up there. Lovely van, love your little chats, looking forward to your next video. Thank you for sharing x keep warm x
BBrrrr looks cold there! You do look nice and toasty in the van though. Glad to see that drop down tv cupboard door does close when the tv is out. The town looks nice. Not often you see meat carcasses hanging in a van like that! I bet Poppies paws were cold after her walk.
The passenger side windscreen wiper blade at that angle would drive me insane ... it seems to be the same with all Fiat Ducatos it must be something to do with converting from left hand drive. Enjoyable video as always.
Great video . Do you feel comfortable driving the A frame always thought the lack of driver door would be difficult to get used to. But it sounds great on the road no rattles or squeaks and your calm confident driving is a pleasure to watch . Enjoy your tour whens the Malibu going back.
Looks gd n Chilly there, , that Passenger Side Window Wiper doin my head in Bob n im not Driving it 🤔 Was there no Air Water Machines where u topped up with Screen Water, wouldnt have been less Awkward
@@BobEarnshawMoHo your arriving vlogs are great and very useful just watched the Durham Grange one as well as going there on the 30th for 1 night and the tip about the outside lane at the junction is good to know which I’ll watch out for although we are travelling from the north it’s still good to know these hazards.
Loving the A Class. How are you getting along with the raised beds? It gives you so much room in the garage for all your bits and bobs. Love watching you all 🥰
Love your video's. I hope to take early retirement next year looking to buy a van for all year living in, Pack up and head off full time touring. What recommendations would you have for new Van winter touring in the £40,000 region regards Ray
It's about both really, we were on a tour, which included arriving at Melrose in a borrowed Malibu in order to review the motorhome. You need to see the series to understand.

A use for that large dashboard!
Another excellent video, thank you for taking us with you
Thanks you're welcome.

Thanks, we use a Taylor made thermal screen on our own motorhome and never had problems with condensation.

Thanks, nice town, Melrose.

Hi Bob Jenny & dogs , in regard to the window mist, if you place one of those de humidifier crystals in a plastic tub under window it may help 👍
Thanks, yes or a thermal screen!
ZeroHour yes agreed they are great, I get mine at Home Bargains
Loving the A Class Bob, we really miss our one....our panel van is lovely but the A Class was something else 👍

She never complains! 😀
We use a Karcher window vacuum in our A class, works a treat and any condensation is gone in seconds.
Thanks, I keep seeing adverts for them now. @bobmckay has one.
I'd say a karcher window vac (other makes available) would be a must if buying one of those vans..
Absolutely, or a Thermal Screen cover.
Nice to see you made a vid of Melrose site, we are the dark grey conversion on the left as you turn onto the dog walk path. Stay safe
A Class vans very popular these days., I like them A lot .👍
Nice little park, bit frosty there though just wet here in Wales.👍👍👍
Thanks, it warmed up a little bit later.
Thankyou
You're welcome

Thank you, think I have just got used to the wipers. The Malibu's wipers just need to be a couple of inches longer.
Lovely site in the heart of the Scottish borders. Dont forget to visit "Leaderfoot Viaduct" and "Scott's View" to name but a few...
Well into your camper .. ..another nice place .. cheers Chris & Sam
We only had one day of frost this week still cold though , nice site and van keeping you both toasty is good
Thanks, the rain seems to be back now it's warmed up.
Great video Bob , Jenny and Poppy . The noise levels on the site seemed very high . Sounded like Butlins 😂😂😂. Must be the local school .
Thanks, the school is next door, so there is some mouse.
Great video . Do you feel comfortable driving the A frame always thought the lack of driver door would be difficult to get used to. But it sounds great on the road no rattles or squeaks and your calm confident driving is a pleasure to watch . Enjoy your tour whens the Malibu going back.
Thanks, yes it was very comfortable to drive and quite relaxing. It has gone back now, I'm a couple of days ahead with my videos.

I thought it would be easy to top up the washer fluid!
Paused at the vid at washer reservoir. The filler tube should extend, there should be a short pipe that pulls out the middle?
Thanks, must have missed that then, had to get the manual out to find the filler! 😃
Just watched this one again as we are going there on the 31st
Thanks I'd like to go back in the summer one day

Thanks, it did warm up a little.
Wooden step in front of loo .👍😂
The photography was exceptional on this video was this taken on the New Hero? --Lin xx
Thank you, the driving shots were on the Hero 7, whilst everything else was the new Hero 8.

Sorry, I don't do recommendations for Motorhomes. Just too much choice and personal preferences involved.
Can we borrow Jenny for our next trip because she’s a marvellous sat navigator and coffee provider 🤗
Who does the teddy belong to? Hope it's Poppy's 😂😂
It is Poppy's - it's a Kong toy from Aileen's McKay Pet Supplies. Jenny just loved it though!
Suppose be melrose not motorhome
