Moin!!
Hi Ana Da, thanks for your comment. The glaze is BOTZ 9353 Oriental Blue - a very popular glaze which makes great effects and looks just marvellous. Enjoy trying out! Regards - Your BOTZ team
Hi Lea, when we rollout clay we usually do that on very simple chipboards because they absorb humidity and the clay simply doesn't stick to it. The spacer bars to the left and right are wooden bars, of course with the same thickness. Enjoy it! Your BOTZ team!
The sort of board is called chipboard because it simply consists of wooden chips (basically joinery's cut waste) glued to boards. It is not coated and that's quite important, as the open pores absorb humidity so that the clay doesn't stick to it.
Hi again, the tool is a thing we call "spatula" here in Germany, it is made of quite solid rubber. Basically it smoothens the clay's surface. You can also use other instruments in order to achieve the same result...
Hi Thomas, the rolled out clay has got a thickness of 4-6 millimetres, depending on how deep we want to do the reliefs... Hope this helps! Best regards from Germany!
Hi Thomas, the pendants' thickness is around 5-7mm, always depending on how deep you want to "indent" a stamp/a structure... Best regards, Your BOTZ team
Amazing! Thank you for adding english subtitles 😊😊😊
Hello my question for is what are you using to hold your ceramic coins while its in the oven
Beautiful is this earthenware clay or stoneware?
Hello! It is possible to use stoneware or earthenware clay. But we fired this glaze at 1050°C. Kind regards from the BOTZ Team

Any tips for how to stop the pieces from warping? I lay my pieces out to dry on a flat surface but some of them warp?
Thanks for your comment! We try to dry them really slowly. And we turn them around a few times. And we weight them with a small board. Kind regards!
@@BOTZGmbH Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to reply and share this tip. I will definitely give those tips a try.
What is the thing you are rolling your clay on? And thank you so much for this informative video.

BOTZ - Freude an Keramik | Enjoying Ceramics what kind of wood is it? Is it coated with something?
Thank you so much for your answers!

Great work
Vielen Dank!
I noticed that after you rolled the clay, you scraped it with a tool and what for. What is the tool?
