Hello from northern California! Loved the thunder egg, such a beautiful blue peeking out! They are always quite ugly on the outside. People sometimes mistake thunder eggs for just another ugly rock. Then you crack or cut the rock, and there is such beauty on the inside! Thanks for sharing!
That is a pretty looking Thunderegg i hope it holds some interesting surprises when you slice it open! We were at Vantage Ginko Petrified Forest today here in Washington wandering around the banks of the Columbia River looking for little treasures. Thank you for sharing Nate!
Wow was she a gorgeous snake! So beautiful! And super tame. I love snakes and lizards and turtles and frogs! I was such a tim boy kid growing up with just my brother! But I love snakes and used to catch garter snakes as a kid and I put them in a barrel in our back yard. Well I forgot about them and my mom and dad were cleaning up the yard because they were going to have it cemented over and my mom turned the barrel over, to roll it away and the lid came off and hundreds of snakes came slithering out and as my mom screamed and yelled And I figured out what happened and knew I was in a whole lot of trouble! The snakes had babies in there so there were 10 times as many snakes as when I put them in there! And my mom was hitting them with a broom trying to keep them away! And they slithered off and many of them went into our pool! I was in so much trouble! But she wouldn't let me bring them in the house! Lol! That was an awesome little break in my day video! Super clean clear water in that creek and treasures and some beautiful rocks! Perfect weather and topped off with a gorgeous snake! An all around perfect video! Thanks Nate! Quest on❣️
Also, the presta valve is a Schrader valve with a screw lock nub on the stem. We preferred to use those in the bike shop due to running tubeless tire with stans no tube sealant in them because of the rocky and treacherous terrain of the Teton mountains. Presta valves are a good way to know your valve is secure.
The gopher snake was very beautiful! I am not a snake loving person and usually get very creeped out when people try to pick them up and play with them. But the way you handled her so gently was cool and she was a beauty. Such a beautiful area there. Sad to see much junk in the river but I also understand. Honestly, I’m surprised it isn’t worse. Thanks for educating us!❤
